Went with my cousins for an outing, we were met as we entered with smiling faces and led to a table. It did take a while to order but the food did NOT disappoint. I had the Shrimp Cavatappi Pasta, it had a nice creamy sauce that complimented the pasta and shrimp nicely. Despite the wait to order (which came with apologies from the staff) this was a great place for our outing. Nice music, great vibe. I'll be back.
I visited this spot for the second time this weekend. I must say... the food was awesome! The waitstaff was very friendly. We visited this spot after midnight on an early Saturday morning (it was packed). Very interesting place. The decor was very modern, tvs were throughout the restaurant and a live DJ was mixing music. BUT the food!!! The food was DELICIOUS! I had the half chicken, broccoli and smashed sweet potatoes. Everything was very tasty! The portions were a nice size too. My friend had a steak bowl. He said there were a lot of flavors in the steak bowl and that it was tasty as well. Overall, we enjoyed this restaurant. It was like we were at the club but with good food. The crowd, waitstaff and music was younger (20 to 25), the decor was very nice and clean and the food was great! Food was pricey, but tasty! We will return!
It definitely was NOT what I was expecting. I paid for 6 wings with collards and "smack" & cheese. My total was over $22, when I questioned the cashier she said they were the larger portions. My receipt was stamped 4:55pm they handed me my food through the window at 5:25pm. I asked, "Does it normally take 25min. to get 6 fried wings?" The cashier smiled and said, "Yes, because we fix each order fresh!" The total of my order did not match the prices displayed on the menu board I ordered from. The add on vegetable that should have costed $4 rang up approximately $6.35 before taxes. I am NOT planning on ever going back.
I'm a truck driver and it's not that often that there is great food like this close to the truck stop. Amazing menu with trained chefs. Being a chef myself I couldn't find anything wrong with the food or the service. The ladies do a great job serving the customers and look even better!!! My spot when I'm in Birmingham AL!!!
