ATTENTION, EVERYONE!!! This is the best kept secret in soul food. From the time we walked in and were greeted by the two young ladies, who guided us through our decision on what to eat. My suggestion is to just get a spoon full of everything 😁 the portions are a nice size. The owners Sarah and Carlos and operators are absolutely wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality and I’ll see you soon. If you haven’t tried this restaurant, then you don’t know what you’re missing. By the way, they also have a bar and James the bartender was great.
Delicious food and excellent customer service! I only wish I knew about this place years ago (: I love that none of the sides are cooked with pork!
Sac’s has plenty of specials to satisfy your soul food cravings, I usually just get a catfish plate myself. I feel that their portions are smaller than the other spots; however sacs does very well in customer service. I would be fine with someone being rude to me for more fries or bigger fish fillets. Recommend going for lunch because they are always packed at dinner time. Get their fried green tomatoes with that sauce!
Just throw the WHOLE place away when the mac & cheese is watery and boxed or frozen!!!!!!! Lemon pepper chicken WAS NOT lemoned or peppered!!!!! Charged us for "dressing" when we didn't ask for it, a dollar extra or not! Wasn't even a table spoon full... forgot to put two of our sides with our order, had to come back out. Greens wasn't all that. Waste of money!!! Isn't an ounce of "soul" in that place when it comes to flavor! 🙄😒 waste of money! Unless it needs new mngmt, idk how this place has the reviews rating it has. The order taker was paying more attention to conversations than taking orders. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Was looking for a good soulfood place to eat I wasn't satisfied with the greens. The mac and cheese was ok but could have been better in my opinion it tasted like Stouffer's can't speak for everyone else. I try to give soulfood places a chance but idk now. Come on Alabama 😑
