Nikki was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so kind and professional through every step of the process and even went above and beyond to have multiple Zoom calls with our officiant who lived in England. I am someone who cannot make decisions and she helped us every step of the way and was great with all of our vendors. I couldn't have gone through the process without here. I would recommend her to anyone getting married!
Nikki is AMAZING! We had backyard reception in early October and needed a lot of help with planning/coordinating and Nikki truly brought our vision to life. Throughout the planning process she was an excellent communicator, organized, very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful in giving us guidance when making decisions about the wedding. When I started to worry that we bit off more than we could chew in planning a backyard reception, she provided reassurance that it would all come together--and it truly did thanks to her hard work and talent! On our wedding day she was on top of every little detail. I still say that I am shocked the day went as smoothly as it did, but I have no doubt that was due to Nikki and her excellent communication and coordination skills. If something came up, she was on it without me and my husband even knowing about it. Because of her, we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day and truly could sit back and enjoy the day. Not only is she amazing at her job, she is an incredibly kind and genuine person and a true pleasure to work with! Even my other vendors commented on how much they enjoy working with Nikki. Thank you Nikki, for bringing our vision to life and being such an important part of our special day that we will cherish forever!
Nikki Johns Events made planning our Eastern Market wedding a simple and enjoyable experience for us. Overwhelmed by choosing a venue that required us to bring in everything from outside vendors and both of us having demanding work schedules, we decided that it would be best to work with a wedding planner. And we're so happy that we choose Nikki Johns Events to help us. Knowing that most people find planning a wedding stressful and time-consuming, I was surprised by how easy working with Nikki Johns Events made the process. Nikki has a pragmatic approach in her planning and a thorough system for making sure all details are covered. With a few in-person meetings and emails, Nikki helped us bring the wedding we were imagining to life. The best part is we were still able to do the things that we found fun about planning a wedding and leave the more tedious tasks to Nikki. The day-of coordination was executed exactly as discussed and exceed our expectations. It was so nice to enjoy the morning of the wedding day with our family and friends knowing that all of the set-up was being handled for us. The professionalism of the Nikki Johns Events staff continued throughout the evening, from handling any unexpected challenges that popped up to making sure the ceremony ran smoothly. It really made us feel like our only responsibility was to have fun and celebrate! I would highly recommend budgeting for a wedding planner for your wedding, specifically Nikki Johns Events. You'll be investing a lot of money into one day of your life, so it's important that you not only enjoy that one day to the fullest, but the process of getting to that day as well. Just had my wedding on 9.23.23. I went back and forth about whether or not I needed a day of coordinator and I am so happy that I ended up going through with it! I found Nikki John’s Events on Facebook and after the great reviews I reached out. I worked closely with Nikki herself for a few meetings, and had Jen for my day of coordinator. Nikki was very responsive anytime I needed her prior to my wedding date and also helped me with my wedding timeline. Jen was absolutely outstanding! I could not have asked for a better experience. Jen spoke with me over the phone to review final details. She also was very responsive by text. Jen saved the day at my ceremony when my florist shorted me three boutonnières for the dads/ Grandpas. She quickly made three boutonnières without me even knowing that this happened. She also called all the vendors the morning of to make sure everyone was coming, and notified me that my officiant thought my ceremony was 1pm instead of 12:30. If it wasn’t for Jen my officiant would’ve been late! Jen also did an outstanding job setting up my reception as well at the ceremony site. She was so nice and helpful. My family and I had nothing but nice things to say. Jen checked on me and my husband prior to leaving to make sure she was not needed for anything else. She also grabbed us drinks while we were lined up for our grand entrance! So, if you are like me and thinking if you should hire a day of coordinator… do it! You will not regret it 😊
