THIS GUY MISBEHAVED WITH ME AND DESTROYED MY SUIT. I went to him thinking this is a premium tailoring service in a premium mall. I brought him a brand new suit with tag on and wanted the suit slightly loosened, pants slightly loosened and hemmed. After he did whatever he did, one side of my suit is looser than other and one sleeve is longer than other IMAGINE!. Plus, both sleeves come up to the middle of my thumb that is how long they are and btw the sleeve length were fine when I gave him my suit! Plus the pants were 4-5 inches shorter than the length I had asked for. When I said my pants are short after trying, he argued and misbehaved with me in front of my parents and my wife that he didn’t hem the pants and the pants were already hemmed. I showed him the tag on my suit, a brand new suit and I told I ask you to hem the pants those were not hemmed but he kept arguing, saying things I didn’t understand and kept disagreeing. He then shouted that he will have to re do the pants hem without getting paid and three times mentioned to my wife the cost while I was changing. One week later when I picked the pants, they were exactly the same length as before, he didn’t do anything. My wife and I left the shop out of frustration. It was a $900 Hugo boss suit my wife had gifted me. This incompetent person charged me $250 for destroying my suit so I’m in $1,150 with an unwearable piece of clothing. My wife cried as this was her wedding present to me. I’m just frustrated and heartbroken with how bad this event was. I want my $250 back, if someone knows how to claim it back, please help me. If there is an owner of the business I can reach out to please tell Metz DO NOT EVEN step inside this tailor shop. If you can’t do the work right then don’t do it, hurting people with take you to hell.
My suit was nearly DESTROYED using the tailors at Nordstrom in Tysons Corner Luckily, I found Sun Tailoring that fixed the various issues that Nordstrom had left for me to deal with. It's nice to have my suit be ready again! Work with Sun Tailoring to help you prepare for your time to shine!
The guy didn’t seem interested in my business nor did he take kindly to questions I had about paying after the work was completed. Instead he stormed into the back with my jacket and steamed out the chalk he already wrote all over my jacket-this was his way of ending the conversation. He was coming off very rude and and uninterested. He hung my jacket back up and I walked out of the store. He has his workers displayed like a sweatshop for the public to see as well. The tailored man across from the Ritz is much better.
I have used sun tailoring for the past two decades under the previous owner. Unfortunately, the new owner is extremely unprofessional, immensely disrespectful, very condescending in particular towards women. I am sad to see the quality of work decline while the prices have unreasonably increased- I do not recommend nor will I return due to his aggressive and combative behavior and poor service-
Sun Tailoring helped us altering my wedding gown and my husband's suit, they did it all incredibly well and in a pinch of time last July 2021 in the midst of COVID. I am super grateful for all of their help. It was super hard finding a person that would alter our gowns while trusting them to do a good job during the pandemic. They have become my 1 number one go-to tailor. Additionally, the pricing for hemming and altering is extremely affordable. I strongly recommend them :)
