$125 to hem a bridesmaid dress four inches with zero other alterations. Also, I was charged a rushed fee just to have it completed within a 2-week period. I only went here because I am a busy student and didn't have the time or energy to seek quotes elsewhere, but I know I could've gone to Best Alterations around the corner for $50-60 for the same quality job.
I’m so thankful. I couldn’t get the alterations done where I originally bought my sons pants for his prom and I called to see if Craig’s could take care of it for me and she agreed to do the alterations even though she was swamped with other work. I’m so thankful she can take care of this before his prom.
They weren’t able to help me with alterations due to my date being too close and it being prom season (my fault for being last minute) but I just want to say they were very kind over the phone and they even recommended me to a seamstress that ended up doing the work for me! They didn’t have to do that so I just want to say thank you to whoever answered the phone that day!
I'm a minister and have performed wedding ceremonies for over 30 years. I needed a pair of suit pants altered, but it was Friday morning and I needed the pants for a wedding Saturday. I called and talked with Ms. Darlene. She told me to bring the pants in and she'd do her best to get them finished. Even though they close at 5:30 pm, she stayed late (on a Friday night) to make sure my pants were finished. And they were perfect! The fit is amazing! It's almost impossible to find this kind of customer service in today's retail environment. Craig's Alterations is the best! I wish I could give Ms. Darlene 10 stars!
The owner tailored my suit for a wedding and did a fantastic job! I've had a hard time getting suits to fit correctly in the past - I'm short but need extra waist, chest and neck room - so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. So I was very happy when I tried it on and it did fit perfect, I won't be going anywhere else. It's also worth saying that the owner was very pleasant and professional. Looking at the other reviews I guess other folks have had different experiences, but the owner and the suit were both fantastic from my perspective.
