I wouldn’t call this a cigar lounge in my opinion. I have been to several cigar lounges in Atlanta and this was not close to anything of the sort. The cigar area is a room closed off to the main area with little air flow. However, the food was delicious as well as the drinks and the service. No complaints there. The music here was extremely good it was more laid back R&B with a few hip hop songs in there. I would definitely recommend this place for just a chill vibe out, get a few drinks, do some hookah and eat some food.
My sister watches the show from Huntsville and it was a must we visit this spot!!! Everything was nice and food was fresh. Security took care of a gentleman that had a little to much. Lol We will for sure go back again
Bartender service was horrible. There was nobody sitting at the bar and with a bar tender standing right in front of me did not greet me and I was repeatedly ignored. At first I thought she didn't hear me so I waited, without leaving my seat, and I was then again blatantly ignored. A good looking gentleman can to the bar seconds later and he was greeted with a smile and a "What can I get for you baby" statement. Very disappointing and it made me feel very unwelcomed. Will NOT be going back. Music got louder and louder as the night went on turning from a lounge to club vibe.
First time in Alabama and here for business. I was looking at cigar lounges to relax after a long meeting and decided to go to Blaque as a support to a black business. I was highly disappointed and will never come back . For one, there did not seem to be any AC in there . It was 97 degrees outside and inside the temperature was 85 degrees per their thermostat. The ventilation system was absolutely also awful and did not appear to be functioning well with flies all over. I spent half of my time swatting flies. Secondly, the owner was in there and quite frankly from all my experiences in business I expected a greeting but this guy seem to have his head so high in the cloud that he did not ever acknowledge my existence. No hello, no how are you , no do you need anything. Not a damn thing at all. He just sat there and stare. My best experience was Monique the bartender. If it was not for her I would have walked out. Ironically I went to a different cigar bar that night which I would not name and had an absolutely different experience. From the door, the manager and owner were greeting me and assisting me and yes they are not black owned . I’m all in support of black businesses but cannot do so so blindly.
I was in town and visited Blaque Cigar Lounge after the DJ Envy car show. And I’d for sure return to the lounge. The ambiance is warm and sleek. The attention to interior decor is appreciated. From the mints in the restroom to the trap blend of music mixed by the deejay, it’s a vibe. One of the owners were there and checked in with the guests. Customer service matters. It’s a great spot to host an intimate gathering. The food is top notch! The chicken sliders and truffle fries were very filling and delicious. The fried chicken with bang bang sauce tasted like your grandma made ‘em hot in the kitchen after church. Good and crispy. The smoked salmon cucumber bites were exquisite! I want to box them up and take them with me. The food and the lounge is a good, eclectic mix. 4.5 stars all around.
