Kevin was a great DJ and host for our wedding. Throughout the entire process he was very easy to get in touch with and was very knowledgeable and detail oriented on how the whole night would go. With his expertise we were able to generate a day of timeline that flowed perfectly. As far as the music everything was great, he kept the party going and did everything we asked of him. Would 100% recommend Kevin for any event!
From our first meeting, DJ Mike brought ideas, professionalism and excitement to wedding planning experience. He went above and beyond to make sure our day was beautiful and our friends and family had a great time, even in the middle of a tropical storm. Music was very important to us on our wedding day and DJ Mike listened to our requests and made sure everything was executed perfectly. We keep receiving compliments on how fun the dance floor was with fantastic music and amazing lighting. If you get a chance to work with DJ Mike, you will not regret it!
Black Tie Entertainment was fantastic all the way from booking, to planning, to execution. We booked Kevin Bates (DMV area), who was so extremely helpful, friendly, timely, and transparent throughout the entire process. He offered great suggestions, his music selection was absolutely spot on for us, and the portal his company uses makes planning so easy. He took the time to help us thoroughly plan our event, even outside of music itself! He worked closely with our wedding coordinator, and even with a family member who wanted to throw in a couple live songs. I seriously can’t say enough great things about him. I went to another wedding who had hired a different Black Tie Entertainment DJ (Richmond VA area), Tony, and as a guest, he was fantastic as well. It seems as though Black Tie Entertainment is extremely skilled, and I’d recommend them (and especially Kevin) to anyone.
Black Tie Entertainment was a joy to work with and our DJ Eddy Bobby did a fantastic job in the months leading up to our wedding as well as on the actual day. Eddy Bobby conducted himself professionally through our meetings and was incredibly helpful with filling out the planning forms! All of our guests loved him as an emcee and a DJ. The music selection was fantastic, and everyone danced the whole night. Thank you, Black Tie Entertainment, for making our wedding day a dream!
We had a last minute complication with our wedding venue and needed to hire a dj a week before our wedding. We were sure if we would be able to find one so later minted but Black Tie Entertainment was a lifesaver!! We reached out to them and they responded quickly and hopped on a call to talk through our situation. They were so nice and so professional and organized through the whole process even though it all had to be done in a week! We worked with Matt and he was great, we got everything planned out and the day of went so smoothly! The music was amazing and he was even able to help us set up for performing a song as well! The mics did give feedback often so they could have been placed better but other than that it was great! Would definitely recommend!!
