In the process of moving to AZ from NorCal, my niece referred me to Fine DreadLocs for my hair care. I scheduled an appointment for 7/24/23. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the owner Darnisha. She had explained that there was a scheduling error, but she would be able to provide my services. They shop was calm, lively, and welcoming. And.. and... They have an amazing chair for the wash stand. I promise you will fall asleep. I was able to explain to Darnisha my concerns with my locs (newer locs Dec 2022) and she was able to provide me with guidance that set my next 4 weeks up for success. For the first time since I started my loc journey, my hair did not itch a week after my retwist. My retwist stayed sharp for 4 weeks. My parts were amazing and doing what they should be doing. My second service was today (8/19/23) with RaNiyah. She was ready when I walked in. We all know how nice it is when they are ready and waiting for you 😍 RaNiyah was very focused and calm. The shop vibe is like hanging out with family. Laughing, giggling, and talking. I explained the style in my head and she made it come to life. I would say if you are interested in adding services on, consult with them first so you know what your needs are for your hair. All in all, this past month is the first time I have been this in love with my journey. I am now seeing the progress that I want to see. 10 out of 10 recommend. P.S. Windy city vibes in Arizona! Family owned. The best and only place to get your locs done. Friendly vibes. Darnisha is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Had my locs done by darnisha extremely unsatisfied. Parts were not straight or the same shape. She literally just played in my hair no attention to detail or nor did she care about the quality of her work. I would avoid using this place they don’t care about doing quality work.
I started my location journey with Darnisha about 4-5 years ago. Now can we get to the good part....I had not been into the shop for months, my poor locs were struggling. I scheduled my appointment without warning with Darnisha. She put her loc love on me and did not make me feel bad for the lack of care my locs were receiving. Did I tell y'all she paid it forward and repaired all my damaged locs. My solar return is 8/27 and I received my blessings from Darnisha. Gifted hands, energy vibrating like no other. She makes it easy to stay loyal. Thank you Darnisha, I love you sis!!! Nothing but peace and blessings Empress!!! I couldn't imagine this journey with anyone but you!! I just absolutely love Darnisha, her customer service is amazing. Not only is she a dope stylist she is very passionate about educating you on your hair care and loc journey. She's so warm and welcoming. If your looking for a loctician or you want to become a loctician, she can definitely teach you and get you right.
