Came in as a new client for a wax and decided to come back before I event entered the studio. The vibe Michai has curated in her space is so safe and comfortable and her personality and character match that energy and then some. Michai clearly knows her stuff about skin care and various skin types and skin needs, which separates her from other places that treat you more like a factory part and push you in and out the door. I didn't feel like she tried to upsell me and the cute first-time customer gift was just the cherry on top. So so glad to have had this experience and looking forward to seeing how my trouble spots become beautifully healed. THANK YOU, MICHAI!
Waxing in general is not pleasant. But for my first time at this establishment, I have to give major kudos to my wax specialist, Michai. I am hairy. Super hairy. I have been getting wax treatments for a while. It's not my first time at this rodeo. But this was my first time here. Michai's technique is so gentle and so pleasant (I know it's an oxymoron) that I almost fell asleep. Notice I said almost, lol. But she was so gentle that it barely hurt at all. Oh, and her prices are AMAZINGLY REASONABLE! I'd go for her prices alone. I'm definitely booking my next appointment here. I think I've found the best wax specialist in the DMV.
