All around AMAZING! Nick helped so much with the details of our day since we were planning for Sedona, AZ from Idaho and had never been before. His communication was consistent and informational throughout the whole process. The day turned out even better than we both expected! Having never met Nick, it's hard to know what to expect but he was professional and so much fun to spend the day with. We both felt comfortable being ourselves, we loved every moment of our day and we truly feel like he captured our day perfectly! Would HIGHLY recommend Nick for any photography needs but especially if you're going to a fun, different approach to a traditional wedding. Eloping out of town with just our immediate family present was the BEST decision we could have made.
I cannot recommend Nick Patton enough!! I could probably go on and on about how incredible he is but his body of work really speaks for itself. When my now husband and I started the journey of finding a photographer it was important to us that our true essence, every weird bit of it, was captured. But every other photographer we saw seemed to capture the same wedding over and over just with different couples. Once we saw Nick's work and met with him - we were sold! Capturing people's wedding day is such an important job and there was not a moment we didn't feel 150% confident that Nick would exceed all of our expectations. From making us feel comfortable behind the lens, to his creative eye, to the final project - we have been absolutely blown away. Just looking at the photos takes us right back to our wedding day. On top of that, he traveled to Big Bear, CA (a place very special to my husband and I) to take some of the most breathtaking photos of us in our wedding attire post-wedding. I tell every single one of my friends about how incredible this adventure session was and cannot recommend doing this enough! These photos are memories we have captured for life because of Nick. We started this journey out with a photographer and truly feel as though we left with a friend. Do yourself a favor and book Nick!
After deciding on a Grand Canyon wedding, I found Nick after scouring Google and Instagram for Arizona based photographers. I wanted someone that had experience with interracial couples (I hate seeing one skin tone fade into photos while the other stands out!) as well as someone that was knowledgeable about our location (we live across the country in Ohio and were overwhelmed trying to plan things)…all while providing amazing photos. Nick exceeded our expectations by far! Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous and exactly the quality I was hoping for- they are going to look amazing printed and framed… not to mention this extremely fast turnaround time for getting the photos back to us! Nick was so much more than just a photographer, though! He hand picked our venue location, gave us tips for airbnb locations, and he also officiated our wedding and helped shuttle our guests up the long path to our ceremony location (Shoshone Point). The wedding ceremony was nothing short of amazing- he worked so much meaning into our short ceremony and set the tone for the rest of the day perfectly. He also made sure that we got time for our own private vows at sunset and included time for my husband and I to sit and enjoy the beauty of the Grand Canyon together with no pressure to pose. The day ran smoothly and we didn’t feel pressured to adhere to a strict timeline due to his calmness in directing the order of the day- I swear it couldn’t have gone any better if we had paid for a wedding planner! I specifically chose Nick based on photo quality and his knowledge of Arizona, but I have no doubt that he would have been just as amazing if we had used a different location. No matter when or where you tie the knot, you won’t regret working with Nick! Both of our families loved him too, and I hope we get a chance to have more photos done by him in the future!
I had been stalking Nick on social media for awhile after I fell in love with his adventure sessions and elopements, his photos speak for themselves they are beautiful. He captures the love of the couple and the beautiful scenery all in one so you feel you are right there with them in the photo. I am a flight attendant and Nick walks on to my plane one day after he finished an elopement and I obviously fan girled, fate worked its magic and we booked Nick for our Greece elopement, everything was falling together. Nick helped us get ideas on Airbnb’s, wedding vendors over in Greece, all of the logistics, small details, and a timeline for elopement day. Nick responded quickly to my texts and emails whenever I had questions or needed to bounce an idea around with someone. We talked on the phone several times going over details and what we wanted from our elopement. We planned this trip pretty quickly and Nick was very flexible with all of the changes and elements we had to work with and around. We are not that couple that love to be in front of the camera, so we were both pretty nervous leading up to our elopement because of the camera, but Nick really feels like he’s one of your friends he helped us relax, he guided us on our poses, he helped us laugh and not feel so stiff and awkward. Nick comes up with really creative ideas and runs with them. We honestly couldn’t wait to get our photos back so we could send them out to family and friends and print them for our house. Nick’s turn around time is very very reasonable and quick so we really didn’t wait long and boy were we obsessed! Nick captured our whole day small details and all! He told our wedding day story from start to finish in photos so our friends and family could click from the beginning to end and see how our whole day went! Seriously some of our photos could easily be in magazines or blogs because they are so stunning and trust me we are not model material by any means! Nick brought my Pinterest elopement to life. We loved working with Nick so much we recommend him to several different friends who have seen his photos and they booked him for their wedding and elopement. Nick we can’t thank you enough for coming to Santorini and Crete with us, capturing our love, and taking these amazing photos we will have forever to treasure. P.S. I’m hoping I can talk him into an adventure maternity session one day haha!
Nick was so easy to work with. He made us feel very comfortable and the photos turned out amazing. We had some time just the two of us and some time with family, Nick made all the transitions so smooth and we didn't have to worry about anything. It was really fun to go to different locations, eloping with Nick as our photographer was the best decision.
