If you're looking for a tight curl specialist that promotes simple, science backed haircare look no further! From my first email with Zarinah I knew I was in good hands. During my first visit we had an extensive consultation where she asked questions to understand the type of cut and hair routine that would work best for my lifestyle. Zarinah provided me with the tools, products, and other knowledge needed in order to be successful, in between visits. I left feeling completely confident in my cut, and styling process and I knew that I had finally found my stylist! I have seen Zarinah 2 other times since my first appointment, for maintenance cuts, and I'm looking forward to future visits. Zarinah is simply amazing. She shares a lot of knowledge about curly hair, every visit is a treat. Polite, funny and very down to earth - she’s worth the long drive these three years. I have been so happy with my hair since I have been going to Zarinah. The health of my hair has really improved in the last year. My appointments with her are such a treat! I have been on my natural hair journey for six years. I have turned to the internet and YouTube for advice on how to care for my hair, which has resulted in me not seeing the growth I want, frustrated and unhappy with my hair. After finding Zarinah I am much more confident in my natural hair journey and am learning to accept my hair as it grows out of my scalp. Before meeting Zarinah I would wear my hair in mostly braids or extensions but now I am comfortable rocking my kinky coily hair. I've been wearing my natural hair for the past 4 years, basically winging it. After going to ZC in August 2022, I feel empowered and knowledgeable about how to take care of my hair...shampooing/conditioning/using styling products/as well as learning about any underlying issues preventing hair growth.
