If you have never been here, you may not understand the pricing or the protocol. VIP service, valet parking, discreet service with a smile. They whisk you in and expedite you out, to keep you in full relaxation mode. The service was A+ , the tip is built into the cost. Although I would have liked to tip more. I also wish they offered a better range of service. Most West Coast spas are geared toward wellness and holistic health. The also need to add some type of European facial to the menu .
So I had the pleasure to get a 60 minute massage asa a birthday gift last Friday and when i tell you it was amazing it was amazing. I went to the four season the Wednesday before for a 60 minute and hands down the service and massage by nicole at the ivy hotel was better so much so that rebooked for This week. I felt relaxed serene I fell asleep on that table and woke up and felt not one ache or pain. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed worth every penny.

I had a massage today at the Ivy with Taquita and it was one of the best massages of my life! The space was clean and beautifully designed and having valet service was a real relief. A note about gratuities: Gratuities (and valet) are included in the cost of spa services, but when I asked what the gratuity was, I was told it was "a percentage", and when I asked very directly if the staff would tell me what that percentage was, I was told no. I've never encountered this practice before! Leave a note if you have, I'd truly like to understand it. Maybe it's a good policy for staff, but it rubs me the wrong way as a guest. I mention it just so that others can be prepared for this and consider that the company might not be tipping what you think is appropriate, so consider adding your own gratuity in addition to what's included!
I had the pleasure of receiving a prenatal massage by Miss Racquel and one word to describe my whole experience- amazing! From the valet service at the beginning to the completion of my treatment, I felt like royalty and appreciated. My massage left me feeling rejuvenated and eager to book again. Thank you for a remarkable experience.
