Have driven by this place too many times to count. Finally stopped by last weekend, was glad I did. It looks like there is no parking, but there is a lot behind the building. The owner Rose is warm and friendly. Coffee was great, although food options are somewhat limited to simpler items such as pastries and avocado toast. Give this place a try sometime.
The barista was lovely to chat with and recommended us some of their special drinks and pastries. The lemon cake is some of the best we’ve had, super soft and full of flavor. The upstairs area has comfy armchairs with pillows and seems like a great place to cuddle with a book or hang with friends.
How cute is this cafe!!! The owners are super friendly. Ms. Yvonne recommended the Iced Peach Light to me and man, did it not disappoint!!! It’s the perfect combo of peach+ espresso!!!! They also have all kinds of goodies if you’re hungry or have a sweet tooth. It’s black owned and they showcase other items from other black businesses on their wall. Definitely returning! 💕💕💕
My friend and I were looking for a coffee shop to go to and found lazy rose cafe. The drinks are very unique and Rose, the owner, was the sweetest and thought of the drinks on the menu! I had the Hamilton which is matcha, Carmel and espresso. I was blown away by drunk! My friend got an espresso and you can pick the type of foam to go on it! Definitely recommend coming here!
I cannot say enough about how much I absolutely love this place. It's so much more than meets the eye from the outside. They take such care and time with their chai latte and it's probably one the best I've ever had. Their drinks are all $5. No matter what. Which I LOVE. The people who work there are wonderful and so nice. They always make me feel welcome, and I want to come back all the time. On my second visit I got to look upstairs and it is SO CUTE! I cannot wait to start bringing my books here on Saturdays to sit back and enjoy reading. Also, the bagels are KILLER (both regular with cream cheese and the pizza bagel). 12/10 highly recommend!
