Chef Alexis is an absolute treasure! We had a holiday party for 25 guests—the food was off-the-charts delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Crab cakes—amazing! Potato pancakes—WOW! Gourmet sliders cooked to perfection, mini fried chicken & waffles with the yummiest maple bourbon glaze and so much more! Our guests positively raved about everything!! Alexis is not only a talented chef, she is fun, lovely with guests and leaves your kitchen clean and organized. If we could give 10 ⭐️’s, we would! Thank you Alexis, and see you next year!
I am a professional wedding & event coordinator who had the pleasure of working with the So Divine Catering team! We planned a corporate brunch for 250 guests at a venue in Downtown LA and they exceeded everyone's expectations in every way. From the moment the organizers and I met with Chef Alexis for a tasting, we knew the food was going to be delicious and prepared with so much LOVE. Then on event day, her team was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. AND.... there was SO much food! We had quite a few hungry guests to feed and the hot buffet, as well as the fresh fruit & pastry displays, were continually replenished and appetizing the entire time. As someone who has worked with countless catering teams over the years, I can confidently say that I would be happy to recommend So Divine Catering to my clients in the future!
A friend highly recommended Chef Alexis to cater my wedding in December. I will be forever grateful! Guests raved about the food and we thought everything was extraordinary. Also, Chef Alexis was a dream to work with. We had 20 adults and 6 children for an at home wedding on the first night of Hannukah. I wanted comfort food. Starting with the appetizers, everything was superb. OMG the Smoked Salmon Blinis w/ Caper-Citrus Creme & Red Caviar melted in my mouth with a delicious sweetness, and everyone loved the Mini Beef Sliders w/ Cheddar Cheese, Tomato Jam, Caramelized Onions, 1000 Island on Mini Brioche Buns. Friends stopped at 3 only because they wanted to leave room for the Braised Short Ribs and Pan Seared Chicken with Tarragon Cream Sauce. I ordered Mac and Cheese because it's my husband's favorite food and he said it was the best he's ever had. He's a connoisseur of mac and cheese. Because it was Hannukah, we also had Chef"s home-made Latkes, which were wonderful. The green beans with carmelized onions were perfectly done and delicious. Chef also made pizzas for the children, which were a big hit. I ordered cakes from a local bakery, we had a strawberry shortcake and a "checkered" cake with chocolate and vanilla like a checkerboard inside that was beautiful when you cut into it, but very plain when just looking at the chocolate outside. The next time I looked at it, Chef Alexis had zhuzhed it up with gold leaf and it looked Wow!!! By the way, Chef did a lot of cooking in our kitchen and it was cleaner when they left than when they arrived I think! I cannot recommend Chef Alexis and her staff highly enough. I would give her 100 stars if I could. I hope we have another event so we can work together again!!!
Chef Alexis and her staff were more amazing than I could have ever imagined! They were all very kind and extremely friendly. We had Alexis for a Halloween party and she definitely delivered! Not only was the food top notch and designed to go with our Halloween theme, but even the decor she brought to set it all up with was incredible! Every single dish tasted so wonderful and delicious. I will definitely be calling Alexis for any and every future event!
Chef Alexis and the experience she curates is phenomenal! She is the best, very flexible, and accommodated our group beautifully. I would highly recommend you invite Chef Alexis to put an experience together like she did for me and my guests!
