Laura is incredible. She is knowledgeable and spent the time so that I understood my hair. I left the consultation with a positive mindset about “me” and a different perspective of my hair. She really helped with the struggle of finding the style that worked best for my face shape. I don’t take change very well, so started with just a cut. I am ecstatic with my style, and appreciated that she explained the process, which will help me style each day. You won’t regret making an appointment!
Came during my college's spring break for a haircut and ended up getting a well overdue hair transformation!! Laura takes you through your features and how she will get your hair to not only compliment them, but emphasize and highlight them. She may not give you want you want, but it's definitely what you need! Be prepared to see a whole new person (for the better) when she's finished! I had the pleasure of booking an appointment with Laura for a design consultation recently, and it was one of my best salon experiences ever. After letting my hair grow out during Covid, I was at a point where I needed to pick a direction for my hair but was at a loss as to what to do. Laura took time to get to know me, drew magic on her white board, and made me feel beautiful without ever touching my head. I now have some new options as to what colors/cuts would look good on me, and can't wait to implement one of her suggestions. Laura's energy and spirit are so exuberant and her knowledge about hair and style were nothing like I'd ever experienced before. I'd highly recommend Laura and Shear Passion to anyone, but especially those that desire a change. You won't be disappointed!
It has been a couple months since i got my hair cut and colored with Laura. I absolutely LOVE me hair, even at the point where I am usually itching to get my hair cut again. It looks good whether i style it or just dry it and have gotten so many compliments! I can’t recommend her a enough and will most definitely be back!
I just finished a consultation with Laura. The experience was totally insightful. Laura is so great to speak with. She has a lot of knowledge and insight to share. I went in thinking okay... what hairstyle is she going to suggest, but left feeling empowered with what I have and how I can improve upon my already "beautiful" qualities. I look forward to seeing Laura's suggestions, and how my new hairstyle (which won't be a bob), can make me look and more importantly feel beautiful.
