My nephew and I went to the Release Room recently. I couldn't find any other smash rooms in Sacramento that were cool with an eight-year-old tagging along, but the release room totally had our back. It was like a stress-relieving workout, smashing stuff -- I worked up a sweat! We smashed glass bottles with golf clubs, crushed computer blocks, and even took swings at a REAL car. Plus the staff was awesome! They explained everything and made sure we were safe and having a good time. The cherry on top - I totally forgot to take pics, but one of the staff members took a bunch and messaged them to me later. Now that’s exceptional service. Thanks a bunch to the release room crew!
This place was really fun ! We had a slight issue with a reservation on the website but they made it work for us! I believe we did 5 stages in there and they offered us water bottles as we ran out of breath. And the fact the employee is also a counselor who gave breathing techniques as well was really cool. My only advice would be to stretch first ! Because my back is sore the next day as it’s a good workout.
Family outing to celebrate birthday. We did the party package as there were 7 of us. Totally worth it and a bit less than what we would have paid at the similar place in Sacramento (farther). We had a GREAT time!!! We got to golf glass, throw glass, hit punching stands with baseball bats, hit cars, break laptop, break toilet, and break wood. The wood and the glass were a favorite! Super satisfying and a great way to get rid of the bad emotions. They helped take photos and videos so we can look back on it. We split into 2 groups and I can tell the other group was enjoying it SOOOO much looking back on the photos/videos. The staff was SUPER nice and seemed to have fun with us having fun. They were attentive with quickly fixing things that fell (like the punching bags and wood) and if we needed water. SUPER FRIENDLY. We even got to sign the wall at the end. We finished up with a quick meditation session which was a great way to calm after releasing emotions and energy (I don't usually like meditation, but it was beneficial). I definitely recommend and will be coming back. FYI, the number google shows is a text number and the best way to get ahold of them. Google shows different times they are open, but the most accurate is the signup on the square website. I was so excited to find out there was a place like this near me and definitely know some others that would love this place. TOTALLY RECOMMEND! We were the only ones there too which was great! Also it was a hot day, but they had nice fans to keep the temp down and only heat was coming from the exercise. Thank you so much to the staff! It went better than I thought it would and I'm going to sleep well tonight! Feedback from the rest of our group was super positive and in some ESTATIC! I'm really surprised I'm only the 2nd review as this place was great. I'm looking forward to the next time I come.
This place is awesome. Have never felt relief from frustration and anger like this in my life. The staff is awesome and friendly. They also offer a meditative session at the end to bring it all together. I highly recommend this place!
The place exceeded my expectations, the staff were friendly and made sure we were safe and had a great time. I would definitely go back!
