Very sad to see that so much culture and history is being erased from L.A. right before our eyes. So much more could have been done to preserve this place in its original form, Maverick's Flat. Literally the birth place of the "Campbellock" aka locking and sooo much more rich history that came out of this place. We gotta do more to preserve our culture and history and stop erasing everything. Very sad to see.
**THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLELY ON 1 PHONE CALL** So I called to inquire about renting the spacefor a birthday party. The initial lady I spoke to (I don't know if she was the receptionist or not) was very pleasant and professional. I wish I got her name to give her credit on this post. She was great! The second person I spoke to, sad to say a woman of color such as myself, (I don't know if they were the owner or main coordinator) was rude and quite unprofessional. She held several side conversations during my call..... Which is ok because I get with running a business there may be small issues to quickly address but she should have put me on mute because I could hear her yelling at the guy across the room. In addition she wasn't clear in explaining the rental fees and what they included. And then when I was concluding the call she just hung up in my face! Not good business etiquette at all!

Great decor and atmosphere. I’d love to host my 50th birthday party here as a beginning tradition since I celebrated my 40th birthday here when it was Maverick’s Flat.
Just a beautiful club to have high class events.
