Just an amazing winery. My wife and I found this place on a whim and made an appointment. The wines are amazing and it's really cool to just sit in an old barn / garage and drink wines. The vibe is just chill. I cannot wait to return. Thanks to Loree for taking care of us!
We had a wonderful time at Mellowood vineyard. Their wines are the best I have ever had. They were the best hosts! The scenery is breathtaking! Perfect combination! My doggie Moli was very happy there! Thanks! 10000000% recommended! Best winery in the entire El Dorado county.

Very good vibes and wines at Mellowood! Had a good time sampling their wines, the Double Gold awarded Zin and Syrah, and their Mourvedre that is surprisingly good as well. Arrive early before the Kenyan style pilau rice and spicy chicken wings disappear! Very relaxed setting and friendly hosts invite one to spend the day. Happiness is drinking with friends!
Love the welcoming energy and hospitality of this winery. Their Marsanne and GSM are quite lovely. They offer relaxing and close to nature grounds which are perfect for unwinding and enjoying local wine!
