I visited Jegal Hair Salon yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Glory is an excellent hairstylist, I had a relaxing shampoo( heavenly with a scalp massage), a hair cut which I love, and a color treatment. I received numerous compliments and people asked me Wow - who styled your hair. The color is beautiful, especially in the sun. I was in and out of the salon in less than 90 minutes. Glory has a lovely personality and is very knowledgeable about hair conditioning. The importance of keeping your hair hydrated and healthy so you don't come in to the salon with split ends. That leads to one’s hair being cut shorter and more layered than usual. I'm looking forward to my next appointment with Glory. My hair is shiny and healthy.
Glory is an excellent stylist and very efficient. She does not waste your time. She has been my stylist for more 30 Years and consistently makes me look good. I have followed her through shops and never been disappointed.
I have simple long, straight hair - never received a single bad haircut until coming here. Glory was rushed while cutting my hair and I was left with horrible choppy layers so bad my boyfriend immediately noticed and asked what happened. Simply from watching other stylists cut my hair over the years it was instantly clear she did not know how to properly cut layers. Whole chunks of hair are missing. She curled the ends of my hair when styling so it wasn’t obvious until it had been washed and dried straight. I’ve resigned myself to needing to spend hundreds of dollars at another salon to try to make it look somewhat presentable immediately and then more cuts to fix it as it grows out. I’m not a picky person but this looks like a toddler got ahold of scissors. Please don’t make the same mistake.
Had an appt this afternoon with Glory. She quickly and easily fixed a disaster haircut and gave me a CUTE long curly lob. Evened out my layers and smoothly incorporated my bangs to get (mostly) rid of them. She listened to what I wanted and looked at pictures I had brought of a previous cut and made sure to tell me what was achievable based on my current cut. Very lovely result, I am happy. :)
This was my first time at this salon, but it will not be my last! Glory did an amazing job and I love my haircut and new layers so much. The salon was very clean and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I had not had a haircut in years because of the pandemic and have not had layers in 5+ years so I was a little nervous at first, but Glory took care of me and my hair. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t be happier with how my haircut turned out. I will definitely be returning and cannot recommend this place enough!
