This was the best experiences I’ve ever had at a salon. It was such a calming environment with great energy. All the staff were friendly. Marilyn really took care of me!!! She explained every single step. Showed me what to look for. Explained why she was doing what she was doing. It was the best salon experience ever.
As a new natural hair, curly client, this was one of the best experiences I have had. Marilyn was kind, enthusiastic and facilitated my learning in a way that provided confidence in my ability to re-create the look at home.
AMAZING. Marilyn is kind and knowledgeable. I felt so relaxed and pampered while learning how to show my curls more love and give them what they need/deserve! For years, I have been looking for a BIPOC salon that specialized in curls and I am so happy I found Mahogany & Rose Hair Studio - I literally can't wait for my follow-up in January. Wow, what an amazing experience! By far my best salon experience ever! Marilyn taught me how to manage my hair, gave me an amazing haircut, and sent me home feeling informed and empowered! The salon is beautiful with warm and bright energy! They have a curly client for life now!
I really enjoyed going to this salon the atmosphere was like a spa warm and very relaxing. I was serviced by Denia who was very nice, took the time to talk to me and see what I was wanting for my hair. She educated me on the process, products and steps, as she did them. Before she cut my hair, she let me know what she was going to do, made sure I was okay with it and she actually cut, by each curl as, needed. I really loved the outcome and will be returning! If you are looking for help or just need a stylist to go to with your curly hair, this is the place to go!
