I just don’t understand the conflicting information. I called to confirm 10 mins before I walked in. I asked if the store refunds items. The cashier said yes, customers can have a refund, but some items qualify for store credit. I specifically asked her if unopened tracks are refundable, she said yes. Then I go in the store and I receive a store credit. What was the point?
Being black owned, you would think that they would accommodate their customers a little better. I purchased eyelash glue the glue does not stick it does not work. This is my second time purchasing an item from this location where they did not accommodate me with a store credit of any sort they give you a seven day return policy with the receipt. Most people do not use certain things within seven days if they buy it for an event. They give you a seven day return policy with the receipt. Most people do not use certain things within seven days if they buy it for an event or other reasons, they do not give you a 30 day policy for a return. And their customer service sucks. Their employees are of no help. I will never buy from here again. I’d rather take my business to Beautymax. It’s down the street from them on W. Patrick St., across from the McDonald’s and Petco next to the Dollar General on route 40 I bought this product jan 29 2023 and they would not accommodate me for the defaulted product. They can no longer get my business. Regardless of the date when I bought the product I still had my receipt and they would not accommodate the customer. They will not give me a store credit they sell things in their store that they will not give a store credit for I still had my receipt and they would not take the item back and give me a store credit it’s very unprofessional even still I change the date just for him. now the owner is trying to make a reply and say that I’m lying. The only difference was the date that I put and I corrected the date but it does not matter if you have your receipt or not, they will not accommodate the customer, and they do not give store credit, you’re better off going to Beautymax take your business there at least they will give you store credit for anything that you buy
Black women owned beauty supply store❤️ they had everything I needed to do my own box braids. And the customer service was top notch too! I can't wait to go back to support!!! Thank you so much ladies for opening a beauty supply store, not only do we spend so much money on our hair, but we have somewhere to shop where we are represented, and feel welcomed. I wish you ladies so much success!!🙏🏿👏🏿❤️❤️HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Hahaha, I was saying to a friend it would be nice if the store was black owned, and she drove me right here. I’m so proud of this and my experience was great! One of the women helped me the whole way.
FINALLY I can make a review after the option being locked/ unavailable for so long! (Almost the whole year of 2022) I am sadden and extremely disappointed in my Experiences at this store. I intentionally shop black owned! It is my Preference to support my people. Customer service is great typically across associates however, I noticed different managerial styles in my 3-4 visits to to this establishment. When one manager/ associate is there she chats with you, helps, leads you to product etc, then goes about her business. On the other hand each shopping experience with manager 2, after being greeted, I'm followed down each isle, by whomever the secondary employee is at the time. Like literally hovered around me while shopping with arms folded. I mean literally, I see her in my peripheral, just standing there. If i were to bend down a pick up something I’d bump her It's EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! I understand asset protection but this is not the best method at all. I will not be giving any more of my hard earn money to this type of establishment.
