Second time coming here, the food is great, the prices are really good for the quality of the food. Today Yuri was our server and he did an outstanding job, great service! The pastas are delicious, great appetizers and my kids love the pizza and the spaghetti with meatballs! The seafood fettuccine is superb. Definitely a hidden treasure in Nova, we will come back very often!!
Not sure what the hype is with this place. Came here for dinner Saturday night—had reservations so we were seated right away and as the night progressed, it got extremely busy. Service could be improved. Food took A WHILE to come out! Our appetizers took over half hour to come out, and that’s only after I flagged down a server to check on our order. The Calamari Fritte was decent, but we didn’t even get a chance to finish it before ALL our pasta entrees AND salad came out all at once. For the pastas, we tried: Penne alla Vodka, Linguini Vongole (with garlic white wine) and Lobster Pasta (Fra Diavolo). My favorite was the penne alla vodka—very flavorful and the creamy sauce was delicious! The other two pasta dishes were okay—the pasta noodles were too thick for our preference, and the linguini vongole was more on the bland side while the lobster pasta had a nice spicy kick with lots of lobster meat. The Arugula-Prosciutto Salad with Salmon (extra $12) was pretty good! The restaurant was extremely COLD, they had the air conditioning blasting—I was getting chills throughout dinner. Also, the parking lot is very tight and small, so you may need to park across the street at the hotel.
Good neighborhood spot but not sure I’d go out of my way to go here. The pizza was really good though! The pastas were ok… one good thing is that they weren’t too salty which is good. But the mussel appetizer was great as well.
The parking lot can be difficult unless you use the valet services or you will have to park around the corner. Prices are fair, food is much better than most Italian restaurants in the area. I had the Margarita Pizza I would have preferred full Basil leaves vs small slices. But overall experience was good.
Finally visited here for the first time and it was delicious! Enjoyed a tour of Italy wine flight, an amazing summer salad! (Pictured), and fettuccine fruiti del mare. The summer salad was perfect! Never thought peaches and tomatoes together but I would go back again tomorrow and order it again. We will for sure be back!
