I had Chef LaLa as a guest chef for my supper club and she exceeded our expectations! Her food has always been flavorful and well presented, but her team is the icing on the cake. Don’t hesitate to book JusLa Eats!
I just ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the first thing I did after I took my last bite was pull out my phone to write this review. It simply wouldn't sit right with my conscience to waste a single second to tell y'all how good this food is. Lawd have mercy it hit every spot it needed to and then some. First time customer but I will definitely be back for more.
I've frequented Chef LaLa's catering and pop-ups for years, and it's a culinary gem that skillfully blends Southern flavors with a West Coast twist. Her menus showcase the rich and diverse culinary heritage of the African American community, offering an array of creative and passionate dishes. The Catfish Tacos are a revelation! Crispy catfish, fresh toppings, and unique seasonings create a must-try fusion. The Po' Boys hit the spot with a savory sauce and perfectly fried meat. Her Gumbo is a rich and soul-warming delight. Chef LaLa's passion shines not just in her food but in her consistent dedication to quality and her customers. Each visit guarantees an A1 experience. From Catfish Tacos to her award-winning Gumbo, Chef LaLa's menus combine tradition with innovation. It's a culinary haven deserving of every accolade.
Chef Lala is not a hit or miss but ALWAYS on point! Anything on the menu is a for sure 5 star item! The po boys are one of my favorites. Food is always cooked fresh , with fresh ingredients and always served with love. Not something you want to miss out on!
Chef La is the name heard around town and her food does not disappoint ! I’ve never had anything bad but my personal favs are the salmon tacos , her turkey wings , catfish po boy and gumbo . I’ve recently grown fond of mushroom dishes but only prepared by Chef La! 10/10!
