This place is amazing. Raymond is a great owner of this alley side tasting room. When we arrived, we went to the address and saw a boutique women's clothing store. Apparently, the tasting room is in the alley around the corner on the backside of the building. Wine is great. We will be coming back!
Great find! Raymond was such a great host and "teacher"! I'm looking forward to getting my wine club shipment and going back to taste more delish wines. Don't wait make an appt today to visit and taste...and join the club!!
Indigené has an amazing assortment of varietal red wines that are fabulous. We particularly loved their Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. The small quaint tasting room is quite lovely and relaxing. Raymond (the owner) was a very gracious, and knowledgeable host. We are very proud to support this Black owned business.
The winemaker Raymond Smith was pouring when I went on Friday, March 31. My group was fortunate to have him do the tasting that night. It was a pleasure to have the winemaker there to explain the wines, share the stories behind some of the blends, and to just talk to an interesting human being. Ask about the philanthropy that Indigine does through some of their wines. It was an incredible experience. Discovered and purchased 6 bottles. Look forward to returning next time I’m in Paso.
A great hidden gem in Paso Robles! Raymond is so friendly and knowledgeable. He makes quite a variety of wonderful wines that everyone is sure to find something they like. My husband had a great time “nerding out” with Raymond on the biochemistry intricacies of winemaking. The location is so cute and secluded. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood!
