Honor Your Emotions is an organization that offers excellent mental health service. The CEO, Tangia does a wonderful job of hiring some of the most professional, intelligent, and compassionate therapists who truly care about their clients and serves them with integrity.
One of the most professional places I’ve ever been to. The therapist made me feel extremely comfortable. Talk to me professionally & listen to what I was tell her. She never judge and I felt like I could’ve talk to her about anything. I really recommend reaching out. At first I was skeptical about out going then I finally made the decision to go. Trust me you will not regret it.
Honor Your Emotions has great services. The team of diverse professionals are willing to help give solutions to very personal issues as well as help set goals needed to improve your lifestyle. I am very pleased with how much my relationship has improved. I cannot thank you enough!!
Terrible. Unprofessional. Unprecedented horrible client onboarding processes! Heather is the only one that I ever had good professional dealings with but the therapist my daughter was matched with was lackluster to say the least. Onboarding: first session is used to verbally go over the 15+ pages of client onboarding, consent, agreement forms. Every other doctor/treating professional sends these forms beforehand vs wasting therapy time. After this, then you’re still required to sign via DocuSign - and not just me (as the parent) but my daughter (a minor). Unprofessional: the therapist my daughter was matched with was “working towards licensing” but I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. There were a few fumbles with working with her because she didn’t know correct processes and procedures. Ended up having to get CEO involved (as a result I was then refunded money). The straw that broke the camel’s back was the therapist, who confirmed an appt day/time, was a no show for my daughters appt. Very upsetting. It’s difficult finding therapists these days since there is so much demand, especially post-pandemic; but heed this warning… STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!
I have had the pleasure of working with Tangia in a variety of settings. She is heartfelt, compassionate and has a realness about her that I have not seen in nearly enough therapist. I love how she able to meet clients where they are while still supporting them through the process of reflection and healing. She is skilled in her work with women, children and families. I'm so glad to know her and would not hesitate to recommend clients to see her for therapy or spiritual counseling.
