WOW! Where do I even begin? GLINT IS THE BEST! We had the incredible pleasure of working with Kate, Glint's founder and it was truly the best experience. For starters, I was an out of state bride who is not from Richmond (my husband is) so planning a wedding where you know nothing and no one can be very stressful! Kate and Glint made this all possible with zoom meetings, weekly check-ins and craving out time for us whenever we were in town! Right off the bat, Glint was every vendors favorite- The Country Club of Virginia, our incredible florist Photosynthesis, our photographers The Tuckers- they all LOVED working with Kate and would rave over how she is the best in the business'. This all proved true on wedding day. Kate worked her magic bringing our incredible vision board to life, we were a head of schedule and everything was PERFECT! My favorite part about Glint is that they strive to make your event different and unique. We wanted to do a "soft exit" onto the patio and have a silent disco after party. Knowing this had not been done before, Kate negotiated, planned and did all the research to make it happen and it was truly the best part of the night! Glint did our wedding in May 2022 and did an amazing job!! The whole team made our wedding fantastic. Anna was so patient and kind with my indecisive personality. And Kate is just amazing at design to day of coordination !! I can say this event wouldn’t have happened without them (if my delayed review wasn’t evidence enough). They covered every detail and know exactly how to run a wedding. Finally, Kate was absolute magic the day of! You just have to experience it but Kate ran everything seamlessly and solved any problem calmly and efficiently (including responding to rain and a heat wave!!). Trust them and trust the process because they are all-stars!!
We had the best experience with Glint Events!!!! They made our vision come to life and then some. Every detail was perfect for all of our events – the welcome party, our wedding, and the after party were all just absolutely amazing. They totally exceeded every expectation that we had. Kelsey made sure each day and event ran so smoothly and every detail was absolute perfection. Kelsey went above and beyond and we still can’t get over how amazing she is. We are still receiving compliments on how exquisite everything was on both nights. Can’t recommend them enough! It was all such a dream!!!!
Kate and Kelsey are literally the best planners of all time! We have no idea how we would have pulled off our wedding without the Glint team. They were so kind and helpful as well sharp on all of the details. I would 10/10 recommend using team for your wedding, they truly made our process so easy and seamless.
I will start off by saying that Glint took our vision of bold colors, dreamscape lighting, creative ideas, skilled artistry, and unimaginable concepts and made them into realities. What was supposed to be a wedding set for June 2020, this destination wedding took us 2.5 years to plan. I will follow up and say that my wife and her mother took on the majority of the planning, but I was still heavily involved because this was a MASSIVE wedding project and it was all hands on deck. The bride's family lives in California and the groom's family lives in Richmond, so with Covid, we needed to move our wedding 5 times in order to keep everyone safe. As you can imagine, moving a wedding date is not as simple as it might seem, but thanks to Kate and her team at Glint, we were able to move each wedding date smoothly and with a good attitude. From venues, photographers, caterers, graphic designers, etc., we easily had over 25-50 vendors to coordinate and Kate did an amazing job following through with each one. She basically planned 5 different weddings from across the coast over zoom meetings and each one was different. Some weddings were in the summer and some were planned for the winter, which means that we needed to change color schemes, fabrics, bridesmaid dresses and it also meant that some venues went out of business. No matter the challenge, Kate had a backup option. Understand that we are two people with VERY outside of the box ideas and Kate quickly understood our vision and helped us communicate that to all of the vendors. Our brainstorm sessions were so much fun to do. We would brainstorm the most outrageous things, like printing our wedding invitations on vinyl records or having huge balloon installations on the pool and Kate would help finesse those ideas into a cohesive theme. She would then find a way to scale it down so that it could be a deeply personal and intimate experience, while sticking within our budget as well. I could write a novel about the signage, invitations, floral arrangements, artistic light installations, table arrangements, photographer and videographer selections, catering, the cake, the venue, the string quartet, the DJ, the band, and the plethora of other vendors that made our weekend spectacular, (and I will review them as well), but thanks to Glint, everything felt uniquely us and it was impeccably done. If you want a wedding planner that goes above and beyond to make things magical and with as minimal stress as possible, we could not recommend Glint enough.
