Two stars for being willing to take me as a walk in when my original appt elsewhere canceled and for being extremely kind and pleasant - not to mention affordable. However, the cut I asked for was a piece of cake - NO top layers, just a shorter length on the underneath hair to give fullness. I even shower how I wear it every day. Instead, I got a feathered cut with top layers that will take me a year to grow out. So, delightful experience, but I'll be paying for it for hours each morning for the rest of the school year trying to style it - should have just stuck with my $100 lady :(
Head's Up Hair Design salon is a special place. Miriam, Pier and Elizabeth are wonderful professionals. Each of them brings expertise, care and knowledge. They treat your hair with attention and you will never feel rushed. They listen and consult and have the ability to understand what you are looking for. They never disappoint! I have enjoyed Miriam's services since 2014 and I will continue to do so going forward. Prices are friendly and the atmosphere is nice, polished and laid back. The salon is bilingual so if you speak Spanish, here is a plus for you! If you are in Arlington and you haven't tried this salon yet, it will be worth it. You can call them, otherwise walk-ins are welcomed!
I love Miriam. She is a sweet, kind woman, with reasonable prices. Very flexible and patient. And she teaches me Spanish!
Small salon with basic amenities. Owner was very nice, accommodating and I got a great haircut. Price was good and I will probably go back.
