Had a pleasant and painless experience during my cleaning today, done by Kimberly Coy. She is very knowledgeable and educated me on a few hygiene questions I had. The 5 star review is based on her and the work she did on me. However, I really did not appreciate or think that the dentist office took a good approach at pushing the laser cleaning. I took time off of work, drove 25 min to get to the office, sat in the office for 10 min and then I was informed by the front staff that they were no longer only doing general cleanings. The staff informed me that the hygienist would not perform any cleanings on me unless I paid an additional $75 for the laser cleaning. If I did not have this service done I could not get serviced at all? Instead of having the hygienist or dentist recommend this service as an option or at least educate me on the benefits of a laser cleaning and I could make that decision, they just sprung this on me and I felt like I had no choice but to pay for the service because I already had invested my time to be there and had taken time off of work to be there. They could have also informed me ahead of time of this new "rule" they had in place so that I could make that decision ahead of time or I could have researched the benefits. But guess they need to make their money and this is one of their tactics to push people to pay more.
The dentist assistant Ms. Kim was very kind. Overall very knowledgeable. Made the experience worthwhile. Thank you Ms. Kim.
Unbelievable! I had my 2 remaining wisdom teeth extracted. I didn’t experience any pain or swelling! The staff and the doctor were very friendly and efficient. Thank you!
Dr. J was wonderful with my son. He give him encouraging advice, motivation, and uplifted his spirit. Dr. J is like no other. Ms.Nicole was gentle and caring with my son. She walked him step by step through every procedure. I’m glad I found a great dentistry in Harbor City! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!
Dr Jefferson is always a pleasure to talk with. Very kind and personable. Kimberly Coy was my hygienist this time and she was awesome. She gave a me a good tip about flossing and I have been flossing everyday thanks to this tip.
