Loyce made my dreams comes true and made me feel like a Carrie Bradshaw! During this dress fitting process, I feel as though I had a friend, whose opinions I valued and knew I could trust. Loyce is cool, fashion forward, friendly and professional -- she knows her stuff! I'm glad I made it onto her schedule for 2022 because it does fill up and that just goes to show you how freakin' good she is! For my Lazaro dress, she shortened it, added an English bustle, altered the top so that it fit me like a glove and took the initiative to add her creative touches to elevate the dress! Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Loyce. She took the time out of her busy schedule to help me with my dogs flower girl dress - she altered the dress to fit my pleasantly plump chihuahua, Mochi. I had had a custom cathedral veil made by Loyce which was so elegant and had the right amount of rhinestones randomly placed on the veil and blusher. Loyce was a major component in making my wedding day the best day of my life and she hands down met all expectations.
Miss Loyce is a magician! I got married during the pandemic so I had two events: one traditional family wedding and one destination reception for friends. Miss Loyce took two super large sample sized dresses and tailored them down to fit my petit body like a glove. She gives you her honest opinion and only wants you to look your bests. I could not recommend her more and she was by far my favorite vendor.
Getting married during a pandemic is stressful to say the least, but if you have Loyce by your side, it can really feel like a breeze. I was recommended by BHLDN - and she was the only alteration spot that had such stellar reviews, so I needed to see for myself! Loyce was bright and responsive when we first discussed over email my hopes for my dress. My only worry was that months (and a pandemic) went by between my first and second alteration- I didn't know if that was appropriate, but Loyce was prepared to make all the alterations I needed at a reasonable price, with a custom veil and belt included to boot! She made her own recommendations very clear which I appreciated as a first-time bride. Not only this, but when I decided to add a second dress very last minute for my first look- which needed MANY more alterations - Loyce was more than prepared to come to my rescue. She made the petticoat removable, lightened the layers underneath, and hooked it so that the slim fitting dress underneath could be shown off more from the front. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am by her skill and her vision for a dress. She can really transform something. For a regular alteration with hemming and gown top closures or a bustle, there might a few places in Los Angeles on par with Grace Bridal Couture. But Loyce really shines in making the dress of your dreams from something off-the-rack. You can't go wrong if you put your dress in her hands!
I was quite lucky to find Loyce to help with my BHLDN wedding dress alteration! The gorgeous beaded gown I found was way too long for me and way too complicated to alter but not for Loyce! She spent days hand sewing back my train after resizing it because the beads were too delicate for machine sewing. She made the dress felt like it was custom-made for me. I felt like a princess on my big day all thanks to Loyce! She also helped me with a custom-made hand-beaded veil to go with my dress. Thank you Loyce for all your hard work!
I didn't know what I was doing when I told my mom I would use her veil in my wedding. Enter Loyce: I found Grace Bridal on Yelp and sent Loyce an email telling her I wanted to make a custom veil out of my mom's old one. We met a few days later and so began my journey with Loyce. I looked forward to each of my fittings because they meant time with Loyce. She offered everything from husband help to style advice and made me feel like I was with a family member while creating this special piece for my wedding day. In the end, my veil turned out so perfect, it was the centerpiece of my outfit and the accessory people loved the most. I would recommend any bride visit Grace Bridal!
