Took my little cousin here to get her hair fixed up. Fafa was really nice and patient with her and gave us a lot of tips to continue giving proper maintenance on her hair. We really appreciated her time and knowledge. We will for sure be going back soon.
I have worn braids off and on over the last 30+ years. I've had so many different braiders in the 3 decades. I am an EXTREMELY neat, clean, organized, and meticulous, woman. My appointment yesterday, May 5th, 2023 at Fafa Professional Hair Braiding was an absolutely WONDERFUL experience. Prior to my appointment, I met with Fafa to discuss my needs, provide examples of what I wanted and to meet her. As I was departing from that fist exchange, Fafa was cleaning the chairs in her salon with disinfecting wipes in preparation for her first client of the day. Seeing that with my own eyes, made an impressive impact on me and we had not even gotten to the appointment yet. Environment is an important factor in any given situation. Everything in her shop is neat, clean and organized.The atmosphere in Fafa's quaint salon is peaceful, relaxing, inviting and so personable. You feel as if you are being welcomed into her home. There is so much of her spirit, joy and love of what she does that is palpable from the moment you enter her shop. The music was sublime and set the tone for an enjoyable several hours that we were going to be spending with one another. I have a very keen eye and notice the smallest of details that most would miss or be completely oblivious to. I watched very closely everything that Fafa did starting with opening, right out of the package, a brand new, never been used comb just for me. Yes, that small simple act on Fafa's part lined right up with everything else I had noticed and liked from the start. As she opened the package of hair I brought, set up her gel, got the comb and, placed a towel around my neck and carefully put on a drape, I felt pampered and taken care of and she hadn't even touched my head yet! We talked, shared, laughed, commiserated and all the while she braided. I did my best to uphold my end of the deal by sitting. LOL All of this and of course you are wondering, yeah, yeah, what about the braids??? How did your hair turn out lady!?!?!? How do you think????????????????????? Fafa did an amazing job on my braids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Each braid is symmetrical, the same thickness, the same length, tight enough to last and yet not pull my hair out. The braids are EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!! She put her heart and soul into EVERY SINGLE braid, and my hair reflects just that. I will be back. I mentioned to Fafa what she herself knows to be true and that is, That the greatest form of advertising is by word of mouth. Fafa is professional, experienced, friendly, loving, kind and a truly stupendous braider, hair stylist and beautician.
When I first started going to Fafa, initially my hair was damaged & my edges were extremely thin, and she brought my hair back to life. She gives good hair advice on how to nurture and take care of your hair. I also like the fact she doesn’t braid tight and her braiding technique is nice and neat. She is extremely professional and I love her cleaning techniques.
FaFa is the best braider, very nice and professional. I recommend her services 💯! She definitely knows what she’s doing! And more important pain free. I am keeping her as my braider. 🙂👏🏾 Thank you FAFA!
So professional in quality of service and attitude. I've never had a greater experience dealing with hairstylists in Fresno. She has a license and actually cares about the health of her clients hair which is such a breath of fresh air in todays climate. I loved my box braids and will continue to only see her as long as she's here!
