Absolutely fantastic, place to get a root canal. Throughout the process everyone from the reception to Dr. Citron were friendly and informative which made me feel at ease. During the root canal process I experienced little to no pain and the process was very quick. I will be using them for future dentistry needs and would recommend to anyone in the area.
Can't say enough positive things about my experience with Vienna Endodontics (in general) and Dr. Wesley Citron (in particular). Root canals are obvious not "fun", but my recent procedure couldn't have gone more smoothly. From beginning to end, the process was smooth, professional and effective. Would HIGHLY recommend the practice for anyone needing endodontic work done.
I had a terrible experience here. I’ll start off with the assistant that refused to explain the purpose of the x-rays. I asked her several times to explain the difference between the week old x-rays I sent and the ones she was taking (with the same machine) she continued to brush me off and ultimately refused to explain it to me. She even went as far as telling me “you wouldn’t understand.” How insulting. She doesn’t know what I know also, It’s her job to explain it to me so I do feel knowledgeable. Also, as a black woman and the history this country has with dismissing black women’s concerns in a medical setting (which too often leads to terrible outcome's) this was a terrifying feeling and I was extremely triggered. I eventually caved and let her take the x-ray. It appeared to be identical to the one they had from my dentist. I pointed that out to her and her response was “the dr. Will be in shortly.” The Dr. came in and NEVER explained the need for the x-ray to me. Either she was aware and didn’t think I deserved an explanation OR she wasn’t made aware. Both are unacceptable. She went on to tell me they would need to do another x-ray, one that gives more detail, to make sure there were no cracks in the tooth. She also told me I would need to come back for the procedure. I explained to her that when I scheduled the appointment, I wanted same day service and they said that would be okay. Her response was just that she would have the front desk lady come in to talk to me. Once she came in, she said she didn’t know who told me they could do same day service for me, but that they’re too busy and can’t. I was immediately frustrated and told her I’m not doing the second x-ray and I’ll be getting my service elsewhere. A week later I found an Endodontics office in Tyson’s that listened to me, answered all of my questions, was patient with me and best of all, took my original x-rays! He also didn’t need to do an x-ray to “see if the tooth was cracked” lastly, they saw me the same day as it was discussed over the phone. I’m extremely please with the work and the way I was treated. Sucks I had to go through all of that first.
Dr. Citron and his team have gone above and beyond for me since the day I stepped foot into the office. From the quality of the work to his bedside manner, I couldn’t ask for anything better in what would otherwise be a scary experience. I also love that he is in touch with my dentist and oral surgeon to check on the progress of my treatment plan. Thank you! Plus, does your Dr.‘s office send flowers to check up on recovery?
I had many questions and some fears about the procedure and they were so gentle and kind. They made me feel comfortable and he did an excellent job. Highly. recommend them.
