It was not on our plan, however we stumbled upon this bakery by chance, while we were on the opposite side of the road on South Main Street. Even from outside, it had a very inviting look and definitely worth crossing the road to get to it. The selection of cupcakes was not too elaborate, but of the right kind. We picked an assorted box of 4 cupcakes for $17 - carrot cake, dark chocolate, mocha, and vanilla. And it was fresh and yummy! Also the lady at the counter was very courteous and helped us. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely get them, whenever we are in that area.
This place has cupcakes that taste like they are baked in heaven. Angela & the owner & other staff members are also absolute angels. Angela goes above & beyond customer service by making me laugh or smile every time I see her. I work for pet care in downtown LA & I always tell tourists to go here & The Last Bookstore around the corner. If you have dogs, they also sometimes have pupcakes, but I recommend you call ahead of time to see if there are any left before you walk your dog down there.
The very best cupcakes I have tasted in LAC! I tried Double Chocolate, Oreo, and a chocolate chip. Would love the apple caramel and plain vanilla next time. These desserts are moist, not too sweet, and huge! Unfortunately, when I got there they had a sign on the door saying they wouldn't open until 1:30 PM (even though the business hours sign notes they usually open at 11:30 AM)! I went to the Fashion District and browsed before coming back.
I was craving a cupcake and stumbled upon this place in DTLA. It was my first time and the cashier was very nice and helpful giving me suggestions in which ones are the most popular. I got the carrot cake and it was yummy! It was thick, super moist, fluffy and filling! The cupcake got me full which I appreciate because it satisfied my craving. It would be nice if the carrot taste was a little stronger, but no complains. ☺️🫶🏽
The cupcake was actually great. Like for its price that is worth, I totally recommend it. The strawberry cupcake were great and weren’t too sweet.
