Amina is amazing. She’s been doing my hair since I was a baby, I’m 18 now and I’m continually impressed by her work as I have kept coming back and cannot imagine nor do I let anyone else braid my hair. I have tried other braiders before and no one comes close in comparison to her excellent service, accommodations, and art.
Amina is very nice and helpful when it comes to various hairstyles. You can tell she knows what she is doing. Good prices and great customer service. Amina also is quick to respond an accomodate. The store has lots of hair incase you run short
Amina was great! Our appointment began on time and quick and uninterrupted. She asked if my daughter was comfortable and to let her know if the braiding was too tight.
I loved her braiding but I've called several times since and she has not responded I don't know why
Amina seems like a nice lady, but based on the quality of my hair I wouldn't go back. She did my hair way too tight. I had cornrows in the back and twist in the front, I told her several times that it was too tight, she tried, but it was still too tight for me. When i got home i had a severe headache, first time this ever happened since getting my hair braided. It's almost a week since I got my hair done and it's still painful. As I mentioned I had twist and cornrows a majority of it was cornrows. I still don't understand why I was charged $120 and why it took her 5hrs to do my hair that consist mostly of cornrows. It doesn't look like a hairstyle that someone would typically pay $120 for nor a hairstyle that's worth the cost. She had another lady working in the shop with her, but the lady didn't look knowledgeable about hair braiding, since Amina was the only one doing two people's hair at the same time. She does some of my hair then stops and do the other lady's hair. Back and forth like that the entire time. I did not contact her afterwards, because I honestly don't want a redo, the only thing I would want back is my time and my money, so based on those I will not be returning there to get my hair done. I was really looking for braiding shop to go. Apparently I have to keep looking.
