Based on my experience, he only works for money, he doesn't care about your problems, and he doesn't give you any value. This doctor's work is only for money. Whether you are happy or sad, you should be charged even in 2022. Last year, he filled two teeth for my wife, and when I went to another doctor, I saw that we charged him for five teeth.
I am never coming back here, This place is UNPROFESSIONAL all they care about is money. They treat their Patients and staff like GARBAGE. Dr.Qiu and his wife belong IN COURT because They need 3792 Lawsuits!
I don’t recommend this office at all to any one attending for themselves or for children. The doctor himself, Dr. Qiu, is by far the worst I’ve ever met as it pertains to the level of comfort and treatment he provides. The hygienist however does a splendid job and unfortunately I do not know her name. Dr. Qiu’s wife is also pushy with procedures, and she is excessive. I think Dr. Qiu is racist, he mistreated his assistant badly both publicly and privately and she was nothing but perfect. He is unkind to patients and not very understanding either. The quality of his work is also questionable but not satisfactory in my eyes. He did not give me a crown for my root canal (painless procedure by the way) and it has now broken and he improperly filled my teeth which have caused me sensitivity and pain for two years now. When I attended this office, he spoke to me as a 17 year old rather rudely and was insensitive to my pain during my fillings, but when my mother came in for the final report he changed his tone and spoke to her more respectfully than he did to me as his direct patient. Go here if you have minor procedures but otherwise, seek medical help else where because this facility is unhelpful and will give you dental phobia if you didn’t already have it.
I have been coming to this practice since before Dr. Qiu acquired it. The office staff is constantly rotating and are not always pleasant to interact with. Despite this, I have never had any truly frustrating issues until this most recent cleaning. I am not sure if the African man who "cleaned" my teeth was a dentist or a hygienist, but he did not do a good job, had poor hygiene, and was incredibly inappropriate in his interaction with me. I am just going to refer to him as "hygienist." At the beginning of the "cleaning" (I say "cleaning" because my teeth did not feel clean at the end of the appointment), the hygienist started with cordial conversation, as they always do, asking how my day was and if I was off. He then told me I should meet him later that day at 6pm. At this point, he had started cleaning the left side of my mouth but stopped, and I politely told him, "no, thank you." He continued "cleaning" and pushed the subject, saying "awww come on you don't have anything going on, you should come." I never mentioned my plans for the day, so I don't know what made him think this. I declined again and stated that I had a boyfriend, hoping this would end the matter. By this time, I was very uncomfortable and just wanted the cleaning to be finished. He responded by dismissively saying, "I know you have a boyfriend. Your boyfriend won't mind. You should meet me at 6pm. It's a great place. I know you will like it." I do not personally know this man. This is the first interaction I have had with him. Again, I told him, "no, thank you" but more forcefully. After that, he proceeded with the "cleaning" but only really focused on the left side. He spent a few moments on the right before putting the fluoride on my teeth. At the end of all of my appointments, the hygienist usually flosses my teeth. My teeth are very close together which makes flossing difficult for me, but every hygienist I have ever seen at this office has been gentle, used easy glide floss and taken their time. This individual was aggressive, making the process extremely painful, causing me to wince and flinch. When I mentioned to Dr. Qiu that if felt as though the hygienist didn't clean the right side of my mouth, he took a look and claimed everything looked fine. When I scheduled my next appointment with one of the young ladies at the front, I requested to never again be scheduled with the hygienist who cleaned my teeth that day and explained what happened. The young lady was upset and stated that I am not the only patient who has had issues with him, while another staff member, an older Asian woman, attempted to downplay the seriousness of the hygienist's actions. I spent the next day with a terrible pain in my gums and tooth in the area he aggressively flossed. I usually look forward to my cleaning appointments and do not come to them to be pressured into accepting a date, deal with nauseating body odor, or have only half of my teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, this incident is the last straw for me and I will not be returning to this office. I will also NEVER suggest another person come to this office for their dental needs.
Absolutely the worst dental service place I have ever gone in my entire life. very low quality services and rude attitude from the doctors and personnel. ruined our teeth and spirit.
