Chase is such a good instructor. We took drop in hip hop. He is an excellent dancer, patient teacher, and we leave with the biggest smiles on our faces! I so recommend trying a class!
Chase is a fantastic instructor!! My wife and I attended our first hip hop lesson this morning and he exceeded our expectations. Apparently, middle aged people can learn hip hop, and Chase breaks it down to make it fun. If you are hesitating to learn how to dance, don't! Get to the School of Breaking and learn some moves!!! We can't wait for next session.
We scheduled School of Breaking to come do an assembly at our middle school for 500 students and they far exceeded our expectations. Chase, Jason and Le'Toya shared such a powerful and personalized message with our student-body and their message really resonated. Students were captivated as they watched them perform. It was such a high-energy, positive and powerful experience for everyone in the gym. We love how they included our students in the hip hop experience and invited students to dance. We were seeking to improve our school climate and culture and this was a great boost in the right direction! This assembly was exactly what our school needed and we are so happy to have booked them and will again in the near future. Students are still talking about it days later. LeToya Garland has one of the biggest hearts working with the youth. Her ability to work with the littles is so sweet. She really helped set the stage for key fundamentals of grooving. Lincoln always wanted to go to class before he got bigger than everyone :) I will always appreciate you for giving him the passion for something that has been a part of my life for so many years. There is a poetry about the way Chase Evered (Chase 'em Down) communicates breakdancing to 12 boys learning the art. Watching him step up and get involved is incredible. Young boys are a part of our culture that most have problems working with due to their immense energy. He flows through it with ease, compassion and motivation. Love seeing long time friends crushing it, and very surreal to watch him helping my son! Appreciate you Chase! Lincoln does too! I cannot say enough good things about School of Breaking. My son has been dancing here for 2.5 years and has grown so much growth as a dancer and a person. I love that they welcome everyone with open arms and teach that community, respect and kindness are just as important, if not more, than the dance moves. The instructors are the best mentors and role models and we feel lucky to be a part of the SOB family!
