This review was deleted, so I'm posting it again. My husband and I's engagement is not what we wanted it to be due to a lot of family drama. We informed Jim of this drama prior to the wedding and asked that he not center his photographs on those particular guests because of how hurt we were and we wanted to look back on our wedding and be reminded of how happy WE were - Jim said he understood and agreed to this. A great majority of the photographs we recieved back from QCP those guests were the main focus. There are multiple photographs of those guests FROWNING as we walked down the aisle, but none of my grandparents reaction to me walking down the aisle? My husband and I as well as our parties spent the majority of our time on the dance floor that night, there are very minimal pictures of the bride and groom dancing, and again many of the guests we asked him not to focus on. There are hardly any pictures of my family dancing, but plenty of the guests we asked him not to focus on. When asked by my mother to not send those photographs to us Jim said "oh they will receive all of them. This isn't my drama", and proceeded to center his photography on those people instead of the bride & groom, parents of the bride, the wedding parties, or my grandparents. There was also an unexpected speech made at the wedding which both my husband and I were very upset about - rather than give us a moment before cutting the cake, Jim said directly to my husband "just slap a smile on your face and pretend you're happy," AT OUR WEDDING! Jim also referred to our only black groomsman as "dreads" for the entirety of the day/night despite being told multiple times his name. The quality of the photographs we recieved were also very disappointing - I've included two as examples. Overall, would not recommend QCP for weddings.
School pictures for “Spring pictures” was very disappointing. The flyer came home as spring and I dressed her in her Easter dress. Now I see more of a School theme. Books and an Apple. Not spring and her dress definitely does not match😢
Hiring Queen City Photography was the best decision I made when planning my family event this past July. Jim and Sean made me feel like my event was as important to them as it was to me. Their timely responses to my emails (of questions and concerns) alleviated a lot of the stresses associated with my decision-making. EVERY time I sent a message, they got back to me in less than 30 minutes. Their event room was spacious, clean and completely private. We were able to decorate and set up hours before the party. I was met at the venue by Jim, 7 hours prior with a key and access as needed. In total I had the space for a total of 11 hours. How many places are willing to give access to their event spaces with such generosity?! Their prices for both space rental and photos were more than affordable. I received the photo results with in 6 days. The only thing that would make it even better would be a serviceable kitchen for food prep and storage. Great job guys. If another opportunity presents itself, I'll be calling you for your help/services! :)
The staff and venue is absolutely amazing. Thank you so very much for your professionalism, compassion and friendliness with helping me make my mom's 60th birthday so special.
They did my daughters school pictures and then were wonderful!! Ordering was super easy and the digital print came out amazing. I also ordered picture Christmas presents and they came within a week of ordering them!! Fast service and great quality!
