I have had two experiences with this amazing Beauty Bar the last two weeks and both were wonderful. Jay has done my daughters crochet braids as well as mines. She is such a wonderful person and her work is on point. She is very helpful and explains to you while asking questions on what it is you would like. Her customer service is awesome. We both my daughter and I are very satisfied customers. The atmosphere of Booji Beauty Bar is beautiful. All the women are respectful and very mimd. The Bar is clean and the decor is beautiful. They even offer you as the customer coffee. I must say I will recommend them and they most definitely have new client in me and my daughter. Ask for Jay she is awesome.
The staff is very friendly very professional and I love the set up. But unfortunately I wasn’t Happy with my last visit. I booked my appointment 3 months in advance for my first WEDDING day and I personally told the owner I needed me and my daughters hair done the morning of the wedding. The appointment was for 9:00 my wedding was at 3:30. They double booked our appointment for 1 stylist. The owner said she would be the one to do my hair but she didn’t show up until after 1:00 and I was still in the chair and my daughter still needed her hair done. When the owner came in instead of her acknowledging me she completely ignored me and had another client sitting in her chair. When the stylist told her she needed help she was running behind instead of her jumping in to help she acted like if was the stylist fault she was behind and sent other people to help. I was floored, this being my wedding day I should have been a priority and she should have been there that morning. I didn’t leave the shop until after 2:00 still needing makeup done my photographer was waiting on me and my daughter didn’t get done until after 3:00. This made my makeup artist rush to do her job and it was just so inconsiderate. They have always done a good job on my hair but the fact that I was there for 6 hours was ridiculous and I will not return. As a bride your already stressing and this is something I should not have been worried about. So I won’t be going back for that reason that was so unprofessional on her part as a business owner you take care of your customers. And she didn’t do anything to ease the stress. The other ladies did a great job and jumped right in she should be thankful for her staff those ladies are amazing. But she definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. They are the reason I gave her 3 stars.
Since moving here from the South 6 years ago, I haven’t been able to find a salon who cares about my hair and makes me feel welcome. Can’t believe I’ve been sleepin on Booji Beauty this whole time! They always make sure my natural hair is taken care of and my hair looks amazing by the time I leave. No matter the hairstyle. All the ladies who work here are the sweetest. It’s always a good time coming here and the new salon is absolutely gorgeous.
I absolutely love it here. Very professional, clean and relaxing atmosphere. Tiffany washed, dried and trimmed my hair. I highly recommend this business.
I have never in my life had an experience at a salon the way I did at Booji. I've been to many a salon in my life, and most of the time it feels like they don't care about my hair/how they treat it. But not here! Booji is simply the best. When I say that my stylist Tiffany got me all👏 the👏way👏together👏! Not only did my hair look the best it ever has, it was done in a clean, beautiful, and professional environment. The entire staff is great, and Jasmine has definitely gone out of her way to create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and clean. It's all in the details. I am officially a booji babe for life, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you for making me feel amazing from the moment I walked in, to the time I left. You're all so wonderful!
