I wanted to write this review because I think that it is important for people to get what they pay for. We ordered from Boney's catering for a company lunch. I will say the food was good. However, the portions were ridiculously small. We ordered a three meat dinner for 25 people and didn't have enough meat especially the Brisket to feed even 15 people. Trina, the owner told me that they gave us plenty to feed everyone but that was hardly true. So you the reader decide for yourself. When it was all said and done we got 4.5 lbs. of brisket or so they say, 4 lbs. of pulled pork and 4.5 lbs. of sausage and 2 sides for $525 basically and we ordered 75 wings and full pan of cornbread and an additional cucumber salad. All said and done we paid a little over $900 dollars. The money really isn't the issue for us the real issue is if you pay for a meal its nice to get enough to feed the people you bought the food for. We unfortunately did not. So we will never use this company again for any catering event. So buyer beware is all I can say....
This place is rated #1 in Colorado for BBQ for a reason! I had their catfish and brisket platter and every last bite was beyond good! Restaurant has a relaxing vibe, owners are nice and make sure you're taken care of. Not too busy when we went. Clean and all around a great place to eat and enjoy your company.
Boney's BBQ catering was delicious and accommodating when our organization was in a bind. The Brisket and cornbread was our favorite and were so grateful that their menu met everyone of our dietary restriction needs. We will be back for sure!!
What a great find. Don’t normally go downtown (because it’s a S______ Show) but we were down for the Sportsman Expo. When we left I caught a whiff of beautiful BBQ on the wind...... tracked it a block north and found this great place...... Boney’s reminds me of New Orleans, the hike down the stairs and the arched alcoves scream Bourbon street. A small stage belting out blues and the most heavenly Q finish it off. The brisket is spot on, my wife had the sandwich but I opted in to the platter and it’s the best I’ve had north of OK City. My daughter had the chicken and she loved the dry rub....... for side we had green bean, baked beans, Mac n cheese and hush puppies, all were beyond expectations and downright filling on proportions. The family service concept is excellent, it’s BBQ let me order and point me toward a table...... WELL DONE BONEY’S.... we will return!
Wonderful. The food is amazing, everyone left our office luncheon happy and full of great BBQ and cornbread. The service we received was second to none and Trina and crew were able to deliver into downtown on the busiest of days. THANK YOU!
