Got my mom flowers for Mother’s Day. They came out absolutely beautiful and my mom love them! She made multiple comments on how great they smelled. Thank you!!

The bouquet I sent to my aunt is fresh, beautiful, and fragrant with a large variety of flowers! They are friendly, prompt, and reliable in their high quality designs. Vine & Ivy, formerly known as K & P Flowers, has always been my #1 choice for flowers!

Out of all the things on the day of my wedding, I cried over my flowers. However, these were NOT happy tears. Vine and Ivy flowers did not fulfill my wishes as my wedding florist. As a fellow plant lover, I really cared about the specific flowers in my wedding. I went with a florist rather than wholesale because I wanted to trust that my vision would be upheld by professionals in the business. From the very beginning, Vine and Ivy flowers were very spacey with their communication. They would not respond to my emails for a long time. Only after I sent multiple reminder emails would they reply to me. My initial Zoom meeting with their representative was fantastic, and I felt very heard. That was why I decided to work with them for my wedding. However, the longer I worked with them, the less heard I felt. The number one important flower that I had on my list to be included in all of the bouquets and arrangements were Dahlias. Vine and Ivy waited until the very last minute to inform me (only a few days before my wedding) that they were not able to source dahlias due to a recent frost. I was heartbroken hearing this. Immediately, I started to research local flower farms, and 3 facebook messages and a phone call later, I found the flowers of my dreams! Ready to be bought and picked up. Frustrated, I called Vine and Ivy back and told them about my finding. They recommended I GET THEM MYSELF and bring the flowers to them, as they were too busy (?with arranging flowers for my wedding?). The farm was only 30 minutes away from their storefront, and I am located hours away. I was appalled to have this asked of me. However, I begrudgingly drove with my now husband 3 hours around the state of Connecticut to pick up, pay for, and deliver my flowers that I was already paying my florist to get, mind you, 2 DAYS before my wedding. But don’t worry, they said they would include an extra vase arrangement as compensation. Thank goodness. What made me even more upset was the owner’s behavior as I went to deliver my wedding flowers to my florist. This was the first time I met her in person! She seemed visibly annoyed with my presence in the store, and only asked what farm I got the flowers from. Nothing else. I had questions about my wedding flowers, but felt completely unwelcome to ask them. I left the store feeling defeated. My now husband felt the same way. On my wedding day, when I saw my bouquet for the first time (now including dahlias), I cried my eyes out. It looked nothing like the vision board and reference pictures I sent them. I understand that some flowers were no longer in season, and they had to make do with replacements, but I was never made aware of this beforehand. For example: I never asked for hydrangeas (or wanted them), but there were at least 3 bundles of them in my bouquet (+ some in my bridesmaids’). The largest eyesore I regret not changing myself was a garden rose looking like a bullseye in the middle of one of the hydrangeas in my bouquet. It looks terrible in my wedding photos and sticks out like a sore thumb. Vine and Ivy also included incredibly garish hot pink flowers spread out in all the arrangements, in which my bridesmaids kindly picked out and removed before the ceremony. Overall, I appreciate all the work they did to make all the arrangements, but the actualization of everything I asked for was not there. One thing they did wonderfully that I LOVED were my centerpiece arrangements. They were absolutely beautiful and were a hit with my guests. Everything else did not hit the mark. My guests didn’t know the difference, and thought everything was beautiful… which it was! It just wasn’t anything that I envisioned. I hope that my wedding was a learning experience for Vine and Ivy, because I think no bride should drive all over the state to get flowers for her own wedding if she is already spending a large sum on a florist. It was ridiculous. I would really do your research on this florist and make sure this is what you want before you choose to work with them for your wedding/event.

Updated - They did it again for me... this time I was the one coming home and stopped by to pick up a bouquet before heading home. Just as happy years later! Well done Vine & Ivy! I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to buy flowers for my wife who was arriving at Bradley. 10 minutes from the airport and I couldn't have been happier with the flower bouquet that was put together in under 10 minutes. The wife is going to love em! Gents! Get the real deal and not the store bought... These flowers look and smell amazing! Thank you Vine n Ivy
