The Cafe had a great art display and fun atmosphere. The food was a little slow but the waitress told us that at the beginning so wasn't a huge deal. The sandwiches were delicious
We love this place! Great place for breakfast/brunch items. They have a very tasty Banana Foster's French Toast. It's not on the menu, but you can still order it and I like the French Toast version much better than the pancake version which is also good. The texas toast breakfast sandwiches are awesome and HUGE. A little on the pricey side, but the food tastes really fresh and delicious. I hope this place is here to stay! We need more dining options like this in Waterbury.
A very welcoming environment. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. The food is cooked fresh so it will take a little longer to get your food but it is well worth it! The owner is community minded and is open to hosting events/ activities and assisting with menu choices. The music playing was soothing. Located in downtown Waterbury. There is free parking on the street after 4pm on the wknds, not sure about during the week. They close on Saturday at 3pm but open back up later in the evening for dinner. When I arrived it was a little after 2pm and it was crowded. The cooks were both wearing gloves while cooking.👍🏾 The servers were friendly and delivered the food as it came out. No cold food. They have brunch on Sundays. They now serve alcohol. They have many Vegan choices, gluten free choices & other healthy choices!
Ordered through DoorDash and when I received my food everything was burnt and just didn’t taste good at all. You would think because of covid that the presentation for outside delivery would be on point by now but not here. It was my first time ordering here after being recommended and it will also be the last time I order food from here. Never been so disappointed in a food place. Maybe it’s the location of Waterbury where they just hire ppl who don’t take pride in the food they make. Not sure but if you want better business your food quality should be the top priority. When I called I spoke with a young manager who didn’t seem to care that the quality of the food was unsatisfying. Told me to get a refund from DoorDash. Which they don’t do a full refund often. So I will not be ordering from this place ever again. Good luck to anyone who thinks this place is good. You have a wake up call calling when you go outside of Waterbury.
Great cozy spot, came as a recommendation. Grits were very cheesy and creamy how I like them. The servers were pleasant and attentive. Nice for all ages. Parking and seating is decent. I’ll be back
