Honestly...the food is really really good but the service needs some work. Me & my coworker ordered food and it took over an hour to make one meal and 2 sides. Then we were told our order would be canceled because they cant make it on time, they ended up making it but still got the sides wrong .. and still had to wait when it was time to pick up. I wouldn't order from them unless I have time to kill, not when we have scheduled breaks to take.
Ignore every bad review because this spot never misses!!! Each meal I’ve ordered has been perfection and this is my go-to for Soul Food in Greater Hartford. My first time trying the fish today and it is so flavorful and moist. I usually order takeout too so bonus points for the food tasting as fresh as eating in.
My go-to for soul food in my area! Everything from the sides dishes to the main courses are well seasoned and plentiful......most times I order I have about half of my food left for seconds. Probably been eating with them since their first location years ago and they've only improved in quality 👌🏾
The chef prepared food for my daughters shower and it was very well received. I did not have any problems with customer service or any issues with delivery and set up by the staff at the venue next door. I also ate there for lunch and the chef was super nice and had answers for my questions about catering the event. Don’t pass up an opportunity to have a scrumptious meal at the restaurant Taste 778!
You must try the Jerk Salmon!... it is really good! Shout to the lady chef who bought out the pineapple shrimp for my wife. I appreciate your attention to detail and excellent customer service-
