Twee does an amazing job with my auburn color and A-line bob cut. With Twee, you are getting a super attentive, experienced, and talented stylist with many years in the business, but she charges only a fraction of the cost you'd pay at other salons. I highly recommend her, and I'm thankful to have found her at NewImage.
Twee is an amazing stylist. She's so attentive and knows exactly what she's doing. She takes her time and makes sure that my hair is perfectly done. Months after a hair cut from Twee, I visited my cousin who recently finished beauty school and asked her for a trim. As she was working on my hair, she asked me who cut it, and told me she had done an incredible job. "Never let her go. You got a good one." High praise from another stylist. Twee cuts my hair in such a way that it always looks good. She breathes life into what is otherwise dull and limp hair. She makes me feel like a rockstar, and I'm so grateful I found her.
The ladies at this place are very friendly and polite. I love my new hair color, the lady who colored it was honest that she couldn’t style my hair type and I had to go again the next day to have my hair done. I had my hair trimmed and blow dried. I loved it but it made my hair drier and caused a lot of breakage in the days following. I was disappointed that they don’t do roller set which is better for my hair type. I also had waxing which was done perfectly. But the waxing room floor wasn’t clean… had hair everywhere. But I saw the lady sanitizing the waxing table after use, which is good. I also had gel manicure , twice, which I love! I will definitely be going back for gel manicure, and hair coloring. If the waxing room was clean and they could use roller set, I would have been a regular. Customer service A+++, gel manicure with Linda A+, hair coloring A ( because I’d need to go elsewhere for hairstyling), waxing B ( room needs to be cleaner). Sorry, I had to change my rating from 4 star to 2. Linda works on weekends only and I had to book for a gel manicure with Amy… my 3rd time at this salon. I was 11 minutes late. She was very rude, and told me she will start filing off my gel color from my left hand right away, I can pick color with my right hand. I said NO…. Either she gave a couple of minutes to pick the colors now, or after she covers the nails with the silver foil paper. I wasn’t going to be told to use one hand to pick the color. She pointed out she wants to save time cause I came late. I already apologized for arriving 11 minutes late, but if she is rushing that I could wait for another technician. So much attitude I was almost confused whether She is doing me a favor by doing my nails. I told her I’d rather have someone who is happy to do my nails. She said she would do it, only to inform me 3 mins later Elizabeth would do it. I was happy that she(Amy) didn’t do it, but feel sorry a business which I have told many of my friends of the great customer service there, has a bad apple!
Great salon. Phong is the best! She's been cutting hair for over 20 years.
Bad Experience. I made a reservation a through Google. When I got there It was not busy but I was told that a staff member had written the appointment illegibly, so I'd have to wait. I waited 40 minutes while they took 2 people in front of me. Finally a stylist came and led me straight to the sinks. I didn’t want my hair washed but she insisted it would be easier to cut that way (I never had a problem at other salons). This must have racked up the price considerably, since all I requested was a 3" trim and the bill came to $70 plus tip. So I paid over $70 for a simple trim without coloring or anything else special. The cut looks fine, but I am looking for a cheaper place with better service and pricing.
