This is a great spot for some very delectable Caribbean cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the spinach patties ... delicious👏🏼! The service was great. Stop in and see Angie and her team!
Decided to stop here tonight about 30 minutes before closing .. ordered curry chicken , curry goat and 2 sodas , the woman at the register confirmed i proceeded to pay cash 40$ And change .. my mistake was not getting a receipt. When my food was brought out the woman at the register forgot the sodas so i reminded her of the flavors .. she then said she did not charge me for the second soda and we needed to pay again.. okay no worries and did although i knew i already paid but i didn't get a receipt so i let it go.. when we went to enjoy our food the curry goat was good .. but the curry chicken had mostly bones . I went back in to inform them of my findings and nothing was done i even informed her that she double charged me for the soda & i asked her to pull up the receipt, she said there was no way to do that. i just wasn't overall happy with the service or presentation of the food.
I was craving Oxtails but I’m new to this area and didn’t know where to go. I don’t like dried out rice nor tough oxtails so I figured I’ll just try this spot out. Their Oxtails were super tender falling off the bone and the rice wasn’t dry! I was impressed and wanted to see if there food was always like this so I came back again two days later which was yesterday. And my GOD’ it taste the same! Tender meaty Oxtails and rice that wasn’t dried out! This place is 18mins from my house but who cares! It’s worth every minute of driving 😉
Will be my last time here Service was prompt and friendly. However, the jerk chicken that was ordered was not good. It lacked seasoning and flavor. The chicken was not smoked in a barrell over open flame.Tasted like oven baked baked jerk chicken tbh. The cabbage was over cooked. The rice and peas was okay but did not taste cocunut milk in it. Portions for a large size was small . . . 75 percent rice with 4 small pieces of chicken.
