This was my first time at the salon and I couldn’t have made a better decision coming in! I was desperate to find someone to braid my hair in a very short notice and Yvonne was able to take me the very next day after I called her for an appointment!! She is very professional and knowledgeable! She made me feel like family verses just another client in her chair. I got medium sized box braids which came out super NEAT and she is quick with her hands!! I highly recommend Yvonne to anyone looking to get great quality service and a good atmosphere!! Yvonne took care of me when I needed it. There was no problem finding her and discussing what would be best for my hair type. She not only braided the most neat and perfect braids for me she also answered all my questions from a hairstylist perspective. I will be back and take my kids here any day!

I gave 3 stars for a few reasons. I got feed in cornrows and it was my first time at this place. The style was very nice, the braider was kind, she uses natural products and the length of time I got them done was quick but she braided too tight, overcharged me, and didn’t fix one of my ends when I asked her to do so. For the tight part of my braids, it was only at the top that they were tight, the bottoms were fine but I had to ask her to loosen some and then I loosened more on my own. I started to get rashes toward the front of the braids and my scalp itched after 2 days of having them done. For the end of one of my braids that she agreed to fix….it looked bad and I had to figure out a way to fix it on my own which I did but I was still not satisfied and disappointed that she didn’t follow through with fixing it. After a week of having them in, they look ready to be taken out as they do not look good anymore. Toward the middle part where my neck starts, they loosened up so much that pieces of my natural hair frizzed out….I felt embarrassed to even walk around after how they looked. For $170+ tax and $35 deposit fee, they should’ve lasted longer and stayed neat!! This was sad to post but it was better I was honest for the next person who chooses to get braids here. Overall, come here if you want a fast, kind and responsive braider but okay with tight and expensive braids.
For all you ladies who care deeply for their hair and want to give it the very best care possible…Please visit Glamour Salon and Spa. My hair was suffering from dryness and breakage until I went there and now it is silky and soft with no breakage! Please go and see Yvonne! I guarantee you won’t regret it!
