I'm a regular at bb.q locations in New York but this was my first time eating here and I was incredibly disappointed by the consequences their choice of packaging had for my takeout order. I placed an order for wings at 12, got there at 12:25 to pick them up, and found that my wings were in a sealed plastic container. I opened them as soon as I got into the car but the damage was done already, they are a steamy mushy mess, no crunch whatsoever. It may seem petty but the whole point of why I patronize bb.q chicken is how amazingly crispy it as, and that it stays crispy as it cools down. Other bb.q locations have lined cardboard containers for takeout, that allow the chicken to breathe as it is transported. The staff was lovely and service was great, but I can't in good conscience recommend that you get takeout from this location until they swap to a packaging style that doesn't ruin their food. Once that's fixed, it's an easy five stars.
Amazing food & service! I was given recommendations and explanations on their variety of sauces and wasn’t disappointed at all. Chicken was moist and crispy and the Gangnam style sauce was sticky sweet with the right amount of heat. Cool fun atmosphere and didn’t break my wallet, definitely a spot to check out
Look, this is the best Fried Chicken in CT full stop. Great food, great service, great vibe. You need to stop in and have the Honey Garlic wings. I can't get enough! I came back when it went under new management. Joseph is the new manager and he's awesome! Food is as fresh and delicious as ever. If you like spicy, ask for the Mala wings!
My sister and I have been to this place a few times now and we have enjoyed it every single time. The first two times was us trying to find our favorites and now we know exactly what we get: cheesling which is this sweet powder cheese dusted over the crispy wings and my sister likes secret sauce, and we get rose tteokbokki with cheese. The service has always been pretty good but last night we met Joseph, the owner, who made our experience even better! He was just so friendly and nice and radiates such a good vibe energy. I love all the K Pop music videos played at the restaurant as well. We can’t wait to go back.
The tteokbokki was delicious and the vibes were immaculate! Definitely my go-to place from now on
