From the moment we walked in to the studio, Todd made us feel at home and was patient with us as my fiance and I have never taken dance lessons before. We were taking lessons for our wedding day and wanted it to be perfect! Todd is an amazing teacher and after about 8 lessons we had the entire routine down and felt very comfortable dancing. thank you to Todd and everyone at the studio, you guys are amazing!!
When my husband and I started taking lessons for our wedding, we had no idea we'd enjoy it this much! Almost 7 months after the wedding and we're still taking lessons. The Guilford team is so friendly and welcoming! Coming in with no background in dance and very little confidence in my ability to dance, I'm amazed at the progress we've made. Our instructors, Chantelle and Manny, are amazing teachers and so much fun to work with! If you're unsure if this is for you or not, I recommend giving it a chance. Like us, you just may find your new favorite hobby too!
Over the last 15yrs of dancing intermittently at different Arthur Murray studios, this studio has been my most favorite one of them all. The team of instructors are upbeat and positive individuals who make every person who enters the studio feel warmly welcomed. No matter the skill level or frequency desired for anyone wanting to dance, the team is willing to customize a program or plan to fit the need. And after dancing with other studios and instructors over the last decade and a half, it was at Arthur Murray Guilford studio, with Karrie, Todd, Chantelle and Manny where I caught the inspiration to take my dancing beyond “casual, occasional hobby” to performance and competition levels. Even better, my husband decided to join me and now enjoys his own lessons and competition as well. Better still, we’ve made some dear friends of other students whom we look forward to spending time with on or off the dance floors. So grateful for this dance studio!
The Arthur Murray studio in Guilford is such a fun place to take ballroom dancing lessons! The staff is very welcoming and the dance floor is large with tons of natural light. If you are thinking about improving your Salsa moves or learning the Samba, then I highly recommend giving them a call. Its a great date night activity!
Arthur Murray Dance Center in Guilford CT is fantastic. My wife and I have learned to Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Cha-Cha, Hustle and Salsa. The staff are friendly, immensely talented and fun. There are many evening events scheduled throughout the year with other Arthur Murray centers joining in. We truly enjoy dancing now and wish that we had started years ago. We all know that there's not a single person who isn't impressed by a good dancer. Dancing is a great way to exercise and it's so much better than going to a gym. You definitely won't regret joining Arthur Murray Guilford!
