Nice vibrant restaurant. But I was disappointed with the food. This is the first time I tried pollo saltado. Even though I did not know what to expect, the food seemed to be too salty with a lot of rice and very small amount of chicken. It seemed to me that the dish could've been renamed as a lot of rice with bits of chicken. Other dishes might be good, but would not recommend pollo saltado.
El Patio is very good and the prices are very reasonable! Where can you get a NY Strip for under $20!? The potatoe salad was also delirando their chimi churi sauce is always delightful. Come try there chorizo, empanadas & tasty deserts. The Argentine wine is always good and the coffee is always made well. Argentines are also know for their excellent service…
Great food and service! I haven’t sat down to eat here in a while, it was speedy service when i did. Here I am leaving a review of the great food and carryout service. They have very courteous staff that is very knowledgable of the food and move carryout ordering lines quickly… there is a sitting place while you wait for your food, and TVs are always on. The tucamanes and desserts are delicious!! Way better then anything pumped with sugar from Giant or at other restaurants. Highly recommend this place!
So none of the plates of food here have ever been good and the staff can definitely be rude, like "they look annoyed as soon as you walk thru the door" type of rude, and constantly try to steer you to buy certain foods (basically the nasty leftovers they have). You have to tell them "No!" and sometimes they end up telling you they have no other foods available (basically lying to get you to buy their nasty leftovers). They definitely try to force stuff like this on you, even small things like where you can sit! Where the place can be literally empty but they say "no you must sit here no other sitting is available" like what?? I've even seen them trying to be sneaky with "giving" water using water bottles to later charge them for it, the people complained but the restaurant still argued against them. Like what is going on with this place??
I brought 3 friends there 3 days ago as I have done do many times in the past 15 years. Just now checking my receipt and I'm quite shocked to see $9.75 for the water thar we ordered. We just wantedI water as the usual offering in all restaurants but we were given these ordinary, nothing special bottles which we never ordered. I never imagined we would be charged about 10 $ for them so I never took it up with the server or the manager. My friends and I will never go there again.
