I hate to write this review with such a low rating because everyone I worked with was so kind and accommodating, even when I was delayed. I was in the shop for a silk press and a trim. The stylist wrapped it for me before I left because it had just finished raining. I unwrapped it this morning and I am so shocked and disappointed in how this style turned out. Not only were my ends barely trimmed, they are rough and extremely frizzy. My edges are still curly, and my hair is so dry that I had to completely oil and restyle my own hair this morning. I spent $145 on a style that I will have to completely redo before my trip. Again, while everyone here was so, so kind I am so disappointed to have paid this much for this result.
Staff is very friendly and the salon is bright and airy. When we went for a consultation it felt like a community. Everyone chimed in!
At first I was apprehensive about letting a man do my hair until I met Azair! I've never had such an easy blow dry that didn't pull and snap my hair. Plus the end result of my two strand twists was marvelous! My hair wasn't weighed down by products and it is bouncy and very soft. My mom even complimented my hair so that says alot! I will definitely be back. In addition to Azair's talent, all of the stylists were creating beautiful hair experiences. Such a warm, inviting, and professional space!
TIFFANY HAS HANDS OF GOLD! By far the best hair experience I’ve ever had! I am in the shop every 3-4 weeks for loc maintenance. Before I transitioned to locs, I had two strand twists and braided styles! ALWAYS WONDERFUL! ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL!
Scheduled appt for my daughter for trim/consult for braids at 430pm on Friday (think….insane DC traffic at this time). Salon calls 10 min before appt (when we are already en route) to ask if we “could push it to closer to 6. We’re running a bit behind.” HORRIBLE first impression. Canceled. Will choose another salon.
