The staff gets an A++! We were acknowledged and seated as soon as we walked in. Our waitress "Curly" was very attentive as all the staff were. The food was tasty and hot. The drinks were on point. The owner, Darrell, came out to greet us at our table and gave me a bday shot. That made us feel very welcomed. We all had a wonderful time and will be coming back.

Went on Saturday evening wasn't busy at all and sat at bar, Food and drinks were amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Plentiful portion size as well but service was horrible incredibly slow to get someone to take order while they chatted with each other at bar. Once we ordered food came out fast but customer service was nonexistent then had to wait forever for chk and get someone attention so I could even pay 😳.

The service was good. Our server was attentive and everything was brought out quickly with very little wait. There weren't many people in the restaurant so the ambiance was nice and fairly quiet with the exception of some background music. It was Sunday anyways so that's to be expected. The food in the other hand was just okay. The steak and cheese eggrolls came as a suggestion from our server and they were good. Both of my drinks were good. Though I wanted more cotton candy flavor from the Cosmo. I ordered the Savage Surf and Turf and thats where the miss was. The lobster tail was very mushy. Unlike any consistency I had ever tasted before and the seasoning was lacking. My lamb chops were slightly over cooked. I like a nice medium rare cook on them. These were more on the medium side (which someone else may like). I will say I didn't bring either of these things to the attention of the server as I'm sure they would've corrected this if I had asked. My asparagus that came with my meal though was really tasty. The jerk max and cheese had good flavor but was soupier than I like baked mac and cheese. All in all, I would come back to try some new dishes. I had my eye on a few different things so I haven't counted them out yet!

Went to D.C. for my cousin birthday and my sister found this place. We were 30 minutes late for our reservations, but they still held our table (it was a slower night, so we got lucky, but dont be late cause it looks like a popular place). The service was amazing. There were so many items we wanted to try, so we decided to share. Crab cake eggrolls 6/10 (needs a dipping sauce) Ole bay fries 4/10 Braised short ribs 6/10 (it was really good, but the cut was roast, not short rib) Ultimate seafood pasta 8/10 Catfish and Mac with shrimp 7/10 Salmon n mash 8/10 Pink lemon drop 10/10 💕 We had late reservations, so the chef came and talked to everyone after all orders were complete. He was very cool and even gave all the birthday people shots. He even told us about the Frederick Douglas house so we can see it. The music was great and not too loud. Parking also wasn't a problem. There were some spots available right in front of the place. I would highly recommend everyone to go. We will definitely be back....
