If you need a vibe. Decent food. And hit or miss service come here. Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Vibe: 9/10 Bottomless: 10/10 The first server had a little bit of an attitude. The second was perfect. Attentive. Nice. Explained to us everything in an understanding and quick way. The bottomless mimosas deal is really good and has almost 10+ flavors. Our first vase of water had something in it. Requested another. Other than that, the food was good, nothing special. My partner and I ordered the Netflix and chill. They have cool names for all the food. We had no issues other than small stuff. The vibe was lit. Music was a little too loud for conversation, but it makes sense because it's more of a brunch/day party.
I see the potential of the restaurant however, when service is below standards everything goes out the door. They apparently had a two hour table limit which they stuck to for my table but no other tables. Food was okay, potatoes were cold. There is an upcharge for certain flavors of mimosas that they don't inform you of. The grauitity was added which means service was below average. I had to keep getting up to get my own supplies. Definitely wouldn't visit again. You could barely hear the music in the corner we was seated at but the DJ was alright. The bathroom made you want to vomit. This is the first bad restaurant I've been to in DC. Only good thing was it's a parking lot behind the building.
I went out with my coworkers on Labor Day for brunch and honestly, I probably wouldn’t go back. The food and bottomless mimosas were good, however, the glasses for water were dirty and once you past the bar to head towards the bathroom, there was a very rancid smell. Other than that, they ran out of food and based on most reviews, I can see that this a regular thing. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I expect if you just opened for brunch, that there should be enough food to make especially when reservations are made. To top it off, there was a homeless woman who just so happened to come inside of the restaurant and would not leave until the cops were called. While nothing could’ve been done on the restaurant’s end, it did warrant our party to want to leave. I hope things improve here because the food really is good, but the experience is lacking.
My family brought me here for Mother's Day ( 5/14/2023) . Service was lacking but the server seems new and does not even understand the menu. We should have know there was going to be problems when she came back and ask my husband how he wanted the WAP cooked? Seriously it's a crab cake and shrimp. ( 3 shrimp and 1 over cooked crab cake that had little crab inside) I had the classy but ratchet. ( overcooked steak that I couldn't eat, I asked for medium but received a piece of hard, dry well-well done piece of steak) the bathroom smells with a sticky floor and no working hand dryers. ( they had toilet paper to dry your hands) the drinks take a long time to come out after you order. We had a reservation and still set at the table for over 20 min before we were able to place a order. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE FOOD OR SERVICE.
My experience for a friend's birthday brunch was horrible. They couldn't find her reservation even though she had a confirmation#. When we finally were accommodated; we were placed all the way in the back near the window on the patio with no heaters. We had eight adults and two children cramed at three single tables pushed together that were not fit for 10 people. When we asked to be moved because there were long tables that were empty, we were told they were reserved already as if we didn't have reservations and already at the restaurant. It took 1.5 hours to get our food to come out, when the food did come out it was warm not hot at all, and some of our food was very dry like it had been sitting. Two out of the 10 of us sent our food back. The others only ate it because they were extremely hungry. The waitress was not the problem. She was nice and did her job; she was not to blame for any of it. Their mimosas come already pre-made and were very weak. The silverware and glasses we drank from were not very clean. They had unfamiliar things floating in them. The bathrooms are not up to par and were not the cleanest, which I could not understand with it being so early in the day. The manager did offer 10% off my best friends bill and provided her a free shot because of her troubles, but it still was not a good experience that we had.
